Genius chapter Mac, genius. Poor Boromir, he really doesn't know what he's let himself in for and the rest of the Fellowship is going to hate him. I can't wait to read of their first orc/goblin/wolf encounter, two weeks archery practise does not a warrior make.

Can you add some more of the canon characters thoughts in? I like the serving elf's thoughts, although it is worrying to hear a MS described as a friend...

Thank you! biggrin.gif I'm glad you liked the chapter. Oh, their first encounter is going to be an eye-opener, especially without their magical! powers! to save the day.

Yes, I'll be adding more of the canons thoughts in. I focused more on Baimeldis because she had more contact with them than the canons in Rivendell. Now that they've left, the others will be able to interact with them more. I am going to miss Baimeldis though. Well, the way I see the "friend" comment, she took care of the Stevens sisters and trained them, some sort of bond had to develop, right?

Yipes...going with the Fellowship. I almost feel sorry for the Sues, actually. It sort of stinks when you've been waiting a long time for something and it turns out not what you've expected. Especially if you've literally been living for it. biggrin.gif

Okay, I'm thinking of doing another parody ala America's Next Top Model entitled "Fanfiction's Next Top Sue". I will play the Tyra Banks role but I want you guys to be on the panel. So, who wants to be on it and what do you want your title to be?

Also, I figure the Sues will be the ones I've done (with Rosa Monroe being the previous Top Sue) since I know their backstories.

So: Enna, Laythia, Jessica, Katelyn, Amandine, Aurora, Samantha, Jessica Giry, Annika, Trac(e)y, Kate and Antiel (from Mother Guardian).

What type of challenges should they face?

Hmm... I honestly don't know anything about America's next top model, so I've got no idea what to say for title and I would so love to be in it. smile.gif

What do you mean by types of challenges?

Well, here's how the Top Model panel is introduced:

"Noted (and sometimes Tyra inserts various adjectives for "drop dead sexy" here) fashion photographer, Nigel Barker. Runway coach diva extraordinare Ms. J Alexander and legendendary fashion model Paulina Porizakova." Then there's usually a guest judge, most often the girls' photographer.

As for challenges, these will be what the girls are judged on and to become Top Sue. Like, singing ability. Or who can pick up using a weapon the quickest, etc.

If you guys want to be a judge, please fill out the following questionnaire and PM it back to me:

Name you want me to use:
Physical description:
Personality you want (nice one, mean one, etc):
Title:
Challenge you would wish to introduce:

Thanks!

Hey, that looks interesting. I think I did read a similar story once but it was never completed, and it didn't use real sues. I'll have to think of my challange, I have a vauge idea...

There probably are similar stories, I'm not going to pretend I'm the first person to have the idea since Top Model is in it's twelfth cycle (sixth year). But my approach will be different since I'll be using real Sues and Sue-haters as the panel.

Well, when you get the idea, PM your profile. First three people who respond get to be regulars, any others will be guests.

I just sent you one. But what do you mean by title? Title like a fancy name? Title of my challenge's chapter?

I explained it to you in the PM. Also, you've made me decide that we won't be our usual Sue-hating selves, but our Sue selves. So, prepare your best Sue self.

Okay, forget the titles part. I'll just give you guys titles. Also, Queen and Ariel have taken up two of the three full-time panel positions. There's room for one more before the remainers become guests.

Also, the following challenges have been claimed: "Seducing a character the quickest," "Besting Legolas in archery without ticking him off." Remember the Sues I'm using aren't contained to Lord of the Rings, so don't think it has to be specific to the fandom. In fact, try to make the challenges you pick general so that any Sue could do it, like "Seducing a character the quickest"

OMGosh, Twit and Shadow are going to get killed. Hooray, poor Boromir though. Can't wait to see them on the quest.

Nice idea about the next Top Model.
