GZDooM is the powerful port of original DooM. Maybe someone remembers what I was doing backgrounds, creating a map in Doom Builder [2].
And one guy used GZDooM for make classic Resident Evil game (using background images + 3d models of player and zombies): More information here: http://forum.zdoom.org/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=22024 I think it's very interesting project. |

Oh my god that's some hot shit ! I love it , downloading the demo naow ! if we can use this and create relistic RE Animations and characters , it will be an epic clone !!
Edit : Just in case anyones wondering you can get GZDoom here : http://www.osnanet.de/c.oelckers/gzdoom/download.html And the mod is in the link DXZ Posted. if you dont have money, freedoom will do, but its not completely te same thing

Just got it working , Once you Extract GZDoom you must place Doom2.wad "From the retail game" and survivaldoom_techdemo.pk3 in the same place "with GZDoom.exe"
Then inside the zdoom-*.ini Add this Path=survivaldoom_techdemo.pk3 under [Global.Autoload] So it's like : [Global.Autoload] Path=survivaldoom_techdemo.pk3 Lunch GZ Doom and have fn ; though i had trouble with the hud , make sure the resolution in game is set to the highest , and the screen size to the fitting size , Hud shall be fine and the blurriness shall be gone , it'll look Epic ! |
