The idea was to simply copy the skins I made for my Claire C mod into RE3 using the Claire PLD that residentevilartist made. Unfortunately, the quirks of RE3's animations and skinning necessitated a few changes, most notably the exclusion of pants (the hand texture is tied to the legs and I'm not searching it out right now) and shorter hair. I ported the other skin from my Claire C mod, but it looks way off to me and I'm not gonna bother posting that unless I can get it up to my standards. At any rate, here's an alternate Claire skin in RE3.

edit: I named it pl04 for use with costume 3, if you want to use it with another pld, you will have to rename it of course.

double edit: this is based on residentevilartist's "fixed" version of the Claire model, just to note

I altered the hair. The vertex data in the RE3 Claire PLD residentevilartist made is the exact same as RE2's, so I'm able to port vertex data from any other PL01-based model easily. I originally made it with pants and long hair like the RE2 mod I was porting it from, but had to convert to shorts when the handgun hand took the pants texture, and had to shorten the hair because something about RE3's animation poses or the way it interprets model data was giving it wonky see-through effects. You can even see a little bit here, with her neck sticking out of the model for the split second I capped it. It looked terrible 50% of the time so I shortened the hair and now it behaves better.

@Whatsamatta: Thank you for making the new skin. Am sorry about the bug with RE3 animation I already knew this, and few weeks ago I have re-uploaded the new Claire, and Leon's model in which the animation bug dont occur. =) - you can download it on the topic.

What is the cause of bug: My Claire and Leon model have less meshes than the original Jill's model, and by adding to their models extra meshes apparently resolves the problem.

-> I'm thinking to make a new model of Claire with ponytail for RE3, I don't know how many peoples here are interested on this?

-> I have converted my Thunderthights Claire model to RE3!! xD

That sounds like a challenge to make, I'd love to see it though.

Actually something I would love to see but don't have enough technical know-how or time to learn how to do is having the Drain Demos player sucking attack and kill animations ported into the zombies in RE2, they're just very expressive... probably a tall order, though.

@Whatsamatta I will try to add a ponytail to Claire when I have free time! ;D

About the Brain Deimos sucking animation, you idea is very interesting!

I can port Jill's being bitten and death animation(sucked by brain deimos) to replace zombie's animation indeed! =) But I dont know if its possible to add Brain Deimos animation to zombie, because I dont know if the both monsters have the same number of "limbs".

Speakin' about the Drain Deimos, i always thought that it would be very nice if someone try to make the human spider from RE 1.5 based on that monster... someone thinks it is possible to achieve that?

Well, I think it'd be interesting to see, regardless! The player animations might work out well enough on their own, or with a little tweaking to timing of the zombies' animation if nothing else.

Much thanks for the awesome work you've been doing on these games.

Decided to clean this up a bit.
The way Claire's model is, combined with the animation quirks and the mostly top-down camera angles in RE3 makes her look top-heavy if she's wearing a single color shirt in RE3. I felt giving her a tank top would help it, and it does, I think. This is also why I gave her a bigger midriff than in the original mod I ported this from, to help break up the colors.

I made the changes to Claire in RE2 first, so included are 4 bonus PLDs for RE2!
