as far as i know all runner zombies cant really turn due to how zombies normally turn. they just grind the wall until they are pointed at you then take off. while messing around i managed to activate claire's cut scene with sherry outside the stars office with leon and 5 runners. after the scene the running zombies followed me, right on my ass no matter how i tried to dodge them, but they would not attack me. but after i shot them once they ran like normal.

would that be the AI or some specific animation in the RDT? i am going to try and figure this out on my own as i have made great strides in the past week, but any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

im just gonna post random musings and observations here, hope nobody minds tongue.gif ...

i read that RE2 only accepts mono songs for the BGM, not true. i have been able to place many stereo tracks. still has to be 22050 wav.

some music only comes through one channel therefore sounds extremely quiet no matter how amplified.

in some rooms you can place 3 different enemies, others you cant. seems to be at random.

i was able to match up the enemy sounds sets and edit them to have dogs/zombies in the same room making the right sounds, but sometimes they swap for no reason. depends on the room.

alot of crazy stuff happens when you hit the first corner in scenario A, including enemies randomly appearing that aren't in the rdt. are they in the exe?

does anyone know how to put spiders on the walls/ceiling?

that's interesting, about the spiders, you can copy the rotation and pose from a existing spider, like in the sewers, cuz if u don't set the right values you game will crash :S

well then, to get them on the walls it probably just takes some playing around with bio2gps and such, like finding out how far you are away from the wall where a spider spawns and compare from there, but what i really want are ones on the ceiling, how would i figure out those coordinates?

with zombie slot 1F, i cannot use the 3 different palettes/outfits of the tim file, only the first one will show up in game no matter what. 1E and the others work perfectly. kind of frustrating.

if i mod the demo, as a beta, i could post the whole thing right?
