I personally like a lot Runaway, the game had really cool backgrounds! so i was thinking to write some tool to rip that background and i have create that tool some time ago so here it is >>>
How To Use: Place RunawayBGripper.exe in Runaway.exe directory then run RunawayBGripper.exe the tool will create directory called "BG" it will save all extracted backgrounds into that directory in 16bit bitmap format (it will take about 20 second depend on PC)! Must've been some pretty good artists. I'm not used to drawing scenery so I have doubts about myself around that area.

those look awesome! reminds me of toonstruck or discworld, but more morbid. never heard of the game but just from the backgrounds it looks fun as hell!

Some more BG from Runaway (they are resized, there is BG in the game that had size 2592x600 pixel)>>>
