Title: Movies You Own A-Z

Rogmeister - January 6, 2006 12:54 AM (GMT)
The games are interesting but perhaps we need a few more? A-Z games are popular in a few other forums I visit. The concept is simple...one person starts with a title that starts with an "A" (such as Aaron Slick From Punkin Creek) and the next person has to come up with a "B" title (Big Jake) and so on down the line. When we get to "Z" we start over. To make it more interesting, I think it would be even more intriguing if you only name movies that are in your own collection, whether you bought it or recorded it yourself. Of course, there's no way to check, we'd be on the honor roll system. Since I'm beginning the game and I am John Wayne's #1 fan, I think a fitting beginning would be...

A-Angel and the Badman

Yes, in games like this, we usually use the rule that you don't count the first word if it's "The", "A" or "An"...thus, The Alamo is an "A" movie, not a "T" movie. It's like you'd find it in Leonard Maltin's movie review books, "Alamo, The"...like that.

Since we are posting what we own, Jerry Lewis.

Are you trying to tell me that you are a whiner?
Forgive the ignorance, but I am not exactly up to date on slang terms.

Rogmeister - January 7, 2006 05:41 AM (GMT)
I don't know about any Wayne films being in legal limbo...several of his films did come out on DVD for the first time last year.

H-Hatari!

Melly - January 7, 2006 05:44 AM (GMT)
Thanks, precoder I actually have three copies of The Empire Strikes Back  The original, the special edition and one on DVD. :D
