I have been reading your site for a few weeks but had to wait for my daughter to visit , to register me because I didn't know how!!! Jessie Matthews and Nancy Carroll were my first "dream girls" (I have a framed picture of Nancy Carroll near the computer. She lifts my spirits when I am down.) I first saw pictures of them when I was about 12 and even though it was almost thirty years later that I finally saw their films - they have always been in my heart.
