HOLLYWOOD GOES TO WAR

Chat regulars agreed that a loose theme would be appropriate for this week's chat. We will consider the stars, movies and directors popular in Hollywood during World War II (1939-45) and further afield if you like. This likely will include discussion of films directly connected and totally different from the experience of the war. We might consider if the War changed Hollywood in a way and what filmmaking and the business was like during it, possibly too we might touch on the documentaries of the period.

This is still really a General Chat there is no basic plan for the discussion and as ever topics like your latest classic film experiences will be welcome.

The times for this week's chat are as follows :
