While reading Love, Lucy, Lucille Ball's autobiography, I recently read about when she made the movie. It was actually a successful film, and she enjoyed making it. I had previously thought otherwise, and I wanted to ammend my assumption.

Thanks, Barbara,
I know I liked that one. But then, anything Lucy was in was great!

Grrrr...first attempt to post this was munched!! Well, I think Lucy is great in this, but Chester Morris and Joseph Calleia are equally good, in fact this is a great ensemble cast also featuring my main man, Allen Jenkins!!! ani_tiphat.gif

This is also a rare instance where I thought the sequel equally as good, BACK FROM ETERNITY (1956), with Rod Steiger in the role that Calleia performed so well in the original.

I thought Lucy was a tremendous dramatic actress before she became the Queen of Comedy!!

I'm not familiar with any of the other cast members, but this is a film I do hope to see someday.
