Hi, I'm Counterpoint from Australia. I love all very good vintage films. Those by Billy Wilder, Ernst Lubitsch and Howard Hawks are my absolute favourites. I hope to join in some discussions of these and that contributors have an excellent knowledge of these films, as I do.

Welcome! I,m Geoff from The UK.

As you'll notice it's taken a month for you to get a reply. This site has unfortunately almost died. That was certainly not the case a couple of years ago when I was posting several times daily and throughly enjoying all the discussions.

I'm a Kay Francis fan amongst others so naturally TROUBLE IN PARADISE (1932) is one of my favourites.

Despite there being hardly any activity I nevertheless hope you enjoy this forum. You can always read the numerous previous posts.

Best regards.

Hi! Geoff,
I wonder why...because this board have several interesting film topics, but most importantly, it's a very beautiful board.
I check in every so often and lurk in order to find out if others have returned.

I know it is sad to see the demise of this site. It was great at one time but the social network is where most members are today. If Invision had RSS feed I would have used the forum link at the social network and directed all forum traffic here but there is no way for me to incorporate new posts on the main page at the social network. I like this site much better as a forum than what the social network has available.
