Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.Term of 1976-1977The year is 1976, and this means an array of various things for students of the infamous school of Hogwarts. For the First Years, they experience the anxiety of going to the school for the first time, and they can have flying lessons; Second Years can have that anxious feeling back in their stomachs, and riding the carts to the school instead of the boats; Third Years can finally experience the thrilling adventure that is Hogsmeade; Fourth Years can begin the exhausting trial of preparing for O.W.L.s; Fifth Years can just maybe be Prefects for the first time; Sixth Years can experience the terror of splinching during the Apparition Tests; Seventh Years can experience their very last year with the Marauders trying to make an irreplaceable ‘big bang.'
With the school in its inner-havoc like always, very few of the younger students notice the gloom besetting the outside world. As Voldemort slowly comes to rise, more and more people are dying everyday. However, a sort of tragic gloom has spread over the older students, scaring them beyond redemption: the Seventh Years know that the turmoil will be their battle. Their chance to make a difference, and to go down in history. But the question they are all asking themselves isn’t about N.E.W.T.s, sadly. They’re more focused on the one simple question of “Will I make it, or will I die out there?”
It’s time for the Seventh Years to choose a side, whether the term has just started or not. As the world around them crashes toward the earth, they seem to think they have until the term is over to choose. But do they?
With roses in hand, thorns digging into the skin, the Seventh Years must stand tall and proud, choose an alliance, and fight for it when the term ends. Tempers run high, emotions run low. It’s a new life after this term for the Seventh Years, and it’s ready to kill. But are they ready to die fighting so young?
