	Midwest The Midwest, in anticipation to the collapse of the United States, banded together to begin construction of the Great Underground. Ten years of work, funded by Messiah Co, left them with a subterranian network of highways and cities. Once completed, the land above was irradiated and the airspace made impossible to sustain flight. While self sustained, the Midwest maintains a highly monitored relationship with both coasts.
