The Minion vs. Blazing Master, Ka'nth versus Kaji

[Chouru]

Timp tomp. Timp tomp. Timp tomp.

The Minion sprinted into town in a hurry. The Earth whispered to him to just keep running, he had to go through without stopping. Yet somehow, he could feel something. It was like a barrier; a very warm barrier that was drawing nearer and nearer.

Suddenly, he stopped running. There was a man standing in the middle of the roadway, and Ka'nth could feel that man's inner aura burning the world around him, burning Ka'nth's own aura to sinders.

"You.. there. What are you doing..?" Ka'nth asked him. The man did not answer. "You, I feel your flames burning at my soul. Why are you filled with such anger? What do you seek to calm your inner fire? Or do you even wish to calm it at all?" The man still did not answer.

Ka'nth was growing very impatient, which was quite abnormal for him. Perhaps it was from this burning sensation he could feel, this strange man eternally burning. Ka'nth decided it was time to deal with it himself.

"If you will not answer me, I must stop your burning desire. That could turn into pure hatred. And I purely hate pure hatred." Ka'nth rushed forward, unlatching his axe from his back, he flipped it around into position, outstretched to his left. Gripping his axe tightly, Ka'nth slashed sideways, left to right, with tremendous force.

OOC: Small, but it's a start. Let me know if there's anything I need to change. I had no other ideas x.x

[Narato]

OOC: This will be fun

With a burning passion of hatred, Kaji raises the power of his aura to expand it through the city for those who are adept and whos auras are strong enough to feel it and attempt to drive them crazy. Deep in thought and meditation, Kaji could feel a powerful presence approaching, all though Kaji could care less, he knew that his aura and hatred flowing through the city, would drive the presence insane, in due time.

All of a sudden, the strong pressence advances even faster and with a slight sign of rage running through his soul. Kaji quits his meditation and moves his head slightly to the side giving his opponent a taunting smile. As the dirty axe weilding man charges Kaji, Kaji smiles and thrusts both of his arms towards the ground to launch him in the air, avoiding the man.

Still rising into the sky, Kaji looks down to face his opponent, Kaji crosses his arms. "Get ready to feel the burn you moron!" Kaji waves his arms in front of him creating a thousand 4in fire darts. "PREPARE TO DIE!" Finally Kaji had stopped flying and now drops to the ground. "Now my darts, bring him pain." Kaji pulls back his arm and with a small grin, Kaji thrusts his arm forward releasing his darts and launching them forward.

With great speed the darts fly through the air, literally cutting the air they pass. "Don't even try to run, they will strike you before you lift a finger." Right before Kaji hits the floor he leans forward launching a river of fire to slow his fall. A foot off the ground, Kaji lands back to the floor nice and easy. "Well that was fun." With confidence of victory Kaji turns his back and walks away from the dirty man.

[Chouru]

OOC: OOOH. Much better than before! Good work!

Ka'nth turned around, only to see a thousand flame darts slicing through the air towards him. There was only one thing he could do. Suddenly, the ground around Ka'nth rose up quickly, and covered his body. The darts slammed into this covering, burning through it. Some of the darts barely reached Ka'nth, but by that time they were greatly cooled down. They only hurt Ka'nth slightly.

Then, the covering burst in all directions, hard molten rock flying in all directions, some right at Kaji. Ka'nth lowered his right hand in the meantime, tiny bits of earth and rock rising up slowly towards his hand. This was preparation for his enemy's next attack.

OOC: Short but sweet.

[Narato]

"What, no screams of pain"? Kaji turns around, but it was too late. A shard of burnt rock came racing at Kaji, Kaji had no time to react from the shard and it sliced through the the side of his stomach. Kaij knelt to the ground holding his wound, with trickles of blood passing through his fingers.

"Son of a---* Kaji spat blood onto the ground stopping his sentence. Still holding his wound, Kaji regains his ground releasing his wound with blood covering his hand. A small grin rose from Kaji's mouth, "Yes, this will do quite nicely." Raising his hand into the air, Kaji's red aura became visible again but this time it was focused around his blood covered hand.

The blood on Kaji's hand started to boil with small pops from the bubbles. With excitment running through Kaji he couldn't help but get a big grin on his face revealing his teeth. "Now, let me show you another one of my tricks." Kaji lowered his arm pointing his hand at the earth mage. The aura became larger and the blood began to bubble even more. "Crimson Bullet!" Ten bullet shapped blood packs fired from Kaji's hand. One of the bullets flew straight through another shard flying towards Kaji, turning the shard into dust.

[Chouru]

"No, allow me to show you one of MY tricks!" Ka'nth exclaimed. Ka'nth lowered his left hand to the ground, and raised his right hand in the air. "It's not only the very earth I can control.."

As the bullets got closer, Ka'nth slammed his hands together. Suddenly, a huge column of earth bursts open from the ground in front of Ka'nth, and a heavy current of air slammed into the top of it. This created a huge explosion, which allowed Ka'nth to jump to the ground, and created a diversion for the bullets. They hit the explosion, and only made it more intense.

Kanth rolled to his left, and springed back up to his feet. Grabbing his axe, he ran towards his enemy. He pulled it out, and dragged it along the ground. It seemed to transform, using the earth it dragged along to change slightly, making it sharper, sturdier, and deadlier.

He swung his axe towards Kaji's face diagonally, and would bring his axe back down the same path, a powerful double strike. This was hard to pull off, but Ka'nth should be able to do so, unless his opponent has something up his sleave. Ka'nth felt this was very likely, as this Kaji fellow seemed very sneaky, and full of tricks. Ka'nth would have to be... cautious.

[Narato]

Kaji's right eye brow perked up when he saw his bullets easily destoyed. As the earth mage rushes towards Kaji with axe in the dirt, Kaji notices a change with his axe and couldn't help smiling in excitement.

As the earth mage runs up towards Kaji, Kaji takes in a deep breath, also Kaji's hands glow a light red. When the earth mage Kaji makes a small leap into the air, in the middle of his jump and releases his breath with a explosion of fire following his breath. The power was just enough to push back Kaji avoiding his double strike. Though the explosion was close enough to hurt Kaji, he had pre planned this and used his fire magic around his hands to put a small barrier around his face, though suffering from slight burns on his chest. Kaji leans forward placing his hands on his knees taking deep breaths. "Damn, I can't do that again, I will have to be more prepared."

Finally able to breath straight, Kaji lifts himself up and calms his breath back to its normal pace and calls up his power once more to create his traditional weapons; his dual fire swords. "This is no minor threat, he means buisness! I wonder why, I haven't hurt or done anything to provoke anyone? Oh well, if he wants a serious fight, he's gonna get one."

Kaji leans forward and races towards the earth mage, lifting his blades up to wards his face, Kaji leans down more in a stance that could almost be mistaken as a ninja or assassin's. As Kaji get in 10ft of distance between the earth mage and himself, Kaji leaps into the air, in mid air Kaji increases the size of his swords to 4ft. Getting close to the mage Kaji holds his swords out horizontally to himself and rotates his body fast enough so that the only thing clearly visible is his two swords that were spinning down to the earth mages body.

OOC: I hope that this post is better. I decided. "You know, might as well redo the entire thing.

Ka'nth definitely wasn't expecting a fire blast, and was knocked back, the earth on his axe shattering to peices, reverting it back to normal. Flipping uncontrollably in the air, he landed on his front-side, using his hands and his legs to coushin his landing, he barely escaped a hard, painful crash. Switching his gaze upwards, he noticed Kaji wasn't in the same place, but noticed him in the air, soaring down at Kaji at an angle.

This site, something Ka'nth had never seen before, gave him an inspiration... and a plan. Mustering up some strength, still kneeling on the ground, he pushed his feet, jumping upwards, at an angle directly towards the falling Kaji. Kanth used the air around him to create a slight air current upwards, and a bit of earth to shove his feet in the air, tossing him directly at Kaji.

Ka'nth spun around slightly, shifting his axe to his right side, preparing to strike. As he drew closer and closer towards Kaji, he felt more and more nervous. Would his plan work? Was this his last fight? Questions he was unable to answer rushed his mind... until--! He swung his axe towards Kaji's face, at the same time lifting his right leg up to knee him in the gut, or kick him in the legs, whichever came first.

OOC: Sorry this took so long, but it has become -PERFECT-

[Narato]

Watching the earth mage spring himself into the air, he realized that it was far too late for him to redirect his attack or do anything to block both attacks. So at the last minuet Kaji changed the direction of his fire blades to clash into the earth axe. At the last moment before the weapon clashed, Kaji steadied one arm and increased the speed of the other so both of his weapons would meet his axe.

With a loud crash Kaji and the earth mage weapons connected, though if it wasn't for the earth mages kick to the gut they would have been in the air longer but the attack droped him to the ground. "Damn bastard, he'll pay for that." Slowly rising from the ground he let out a small laugh, he didn't care he was hurt one bit, he was excited for an interesting challenge.

"Well now, lets just see what else he can do with that axe now won't we?" Using the smoke as a veil to give him some cover and keep his enemy in suspense Kaji pulled back the hair covering his left eye, with the enchanted left eye Kaji was able to see the enemies body heat knowing exactly where he was through the smoke. Catching both of his hands on fire, Kaji waved his hands around at a high pace to send wave after wave of small fire darts most of them were sent towards the enemy but Kaji did through a few others around to have fun watching his opponent jump around.

Ka'nth's attack surprisingly worked on the fire mage, which was definitely not what Ka'nth suspected. He couldn't help but wonder for a split second if that was a trick of the fire mage, or if he really did overestimate his opponent.

Ka'nth twisted in the air, shifting his body so as to land on his feet. With a quiet thud, his feet touched the ground, and he noticed a large cloud of dust and dirt. He guessed that Kaji was in the center. But all of a sudden, a large amount of flaming darts, made entirely of fire, came soaring towards Ka'nth, ripping right through the cloud, leaving a blazing trail behind them.

"Uh oh!" shouted Ka'nth. He had to react quickly. Tossing his body down, he threw himself on his knees, put his axe on its holster on his back, and shoved his arms to the ground. Within a second, two giant sheilds of earth were created on each of Kanth's arms, and he rolled backwards, leaping up to land on his feet. He kneeled again, his arms outward, sheilding his entire body with the giant sheilds. Just as he did so, the darts slammed into his sheilds.

Ka'nth could feel the heat as the many darts slowly burned his sheilds away, but there wasn't a pause for him to regenerate the power... yet. Suddenly, he had an idea, but it was very risky, and he was sure to get hurt, but it was all he had. Ka'nth focused for a few seconds... focused his strength to his mind, preparing for what he was about to do. Finally, he rolled forward, darts ablaze slamming into his body, burning his clothes and his skin. The pain did not ruin his concentration, for as he rolled, he gathered more earth to his sheilds, and got back up again.

This time around, his sheilds were longer, they touched the ground when he stood up. This allowed him to sheild his legs as he ran. And indeed he ran, ran towards his opponent. Ran as fast as he could, still able to feel the heat from the darts. He was now inside the cloud, he couldn't see, but he knew what to do, using his geomancer powers, he shoved the dirt and the dust away. He used the wind to blow the cloud away from him, and his opponent was revealed.

He tossed the sheilds at Kaji, right after changing them into sharp shards of pure earth. These could sever an elephant, go right through it. Ka'nth also drew his axe, but did not move. He stood there, face dirty and clothes burnt. He looked ragged, but such was his nature.

OOC: Sorry for the long post...

[Narato]

Kaji was a little dissapointed at the fact that his opponent did not dance like he wanted too, also because he didn't show any sign of shock when darts came out of no where, though he did become more excited when he saw that some of his darts had burned the enemy mage. Seeing how the mage decided to push away the dust Kaji recovered his left eye with his hair but because he did it so soon, Kaji barely had time to avoid the darts.

Quickly turning to so that his side was pointed towards the mage, Kaji took an earth shard in the right shoulder. After taking the first hit, Kaji did the best he could deflecting shards with small fire shields, though because of his delay most of them were able to cut his arms and legs. Dismissing his fire shields Kaji returns to a stand, waiting for the smoke to clear.

As the remaining smoke turned back to dust and layed flat on the ground. Kaji and the mage stared at each other. "So you know this isn't a staring contest. We are in the middle of a fight, now lets see how you can handle a pet of mine." Drawing forth more fire magic then he has this entire fight. Bringing his hands closer to form a small fire orb that rapidly grew larger. When the orb was twice the size of Kaji's head he threw it into the air, and with of a snap of his fingers the orb exploded and came crashing down to the ground in front of Kaji. "Rise my pet and enjoy, for I have found you a new more worthy play thing." Kaji took a few steps back to let his creature stand to show off his true size. The fire spirit roze to 10ft. matching his height the creature was almost as wide as a small house.

"Now, let's see how well you stand up against a spirit and I must say, if you die now....well, I will be very dissapointed." Giving the earth mage an evil grin before the fire spirit slowly moved forward. With a snap of Kaji's fingers the spirit lifted his whole arm and swund down at the mage.

OOC: Okay, finally done....couldn't think of what else to do with a spirit...so have fun...>_<

[Chouru]

Ka'nth looked at the spirit in awe. Never before had he seen such a thing, yet no other emotion passed through him. Quickly removing his axe from it's holster on his back and swinging it into position, holding it out and across his chest, Ka'nth prepared to dodge the spirit's attack, while also attacking it.

Rolling to his right and bringing his axe upwards using all the force that he can while moving otherwise, hoping to at least barely snip the spirit's arm, he escaped the spirit's crushing attack. Ka'nth leapt up immediately, keeping his back turned from the spirit. He had an idea, but he had to be extremely focused. If his plan worked it would probably dispose of this spirit in one, twisting, heavy blow, forcing his real opponent to fight him again.

He would wait until the spirit went to attack him again, and then shove his axe backward, to his left. Once contact was felt, he would spin around, to the left and upwards, focusing the air around him to push himself up, spinning and slashing at the same time. Quite some hefty damage, if it could be pulled off correctly. This was Kanth's plan, at least.

OOC: *shrug* That's what my attack will be if your spirit attacks me again, not what has happened already, understood? In your post you can go to attack, if you want (which would be the point, since this is a battle ), and then this will happen, so yes, you can God-Mod as long as it stays within the bounderies of what would really happen. I await your next post.

[Narato]

Kaji noticed something strange about the earth mages tactic. He had never waited for anything before. He had always attacked in the middle or right after one of my attacks. Although knowing that his tactic was differen't he couldn't expect what the mage was going to do. Looking at his spirit he realized that the mage would resort to nothing to finish off the spirit in one move.

He wanted to use this to his advantage. Kaji hid behind his fire spirit, hopefully this was enough to hide his tactics against the mage. After conealing himself behind the spirit he created a large wall of fire darts. Breaking a limitation that he put in his mind Kaji created at most 100 darts that was hiding behind his spirit.

With a snap of his fingers Kaji commanded the spirit to move forward and charge recklessly towards the mage. When the mage got what he wanted he started his attack onto the fire spirit. When the mage was in the air, Kaji snapped his left hand to have the spirit explode after the explosion had started Kaji waved his hand forward and released his fire darts and launch his darts towards the mage piercing the explosion.

OOC: Tried not to god mod even though you said I could.

[Chouru]

Why am I fighting this battle? My true purpose is... to protect this world. But what has this man done? Nothing... Yet. This man is dangerous... his attacks are.. so wildly dangerous... that he could destroy the world someday... I must not let this happen.... at.. all!

Ka'nth lifted his head, only to realize he needed to get up, and fast. He had been in mid air when the spirit exploded, which launched him far. Then Kaji's fire darts slammed into Ka'nth, while he was still flying, which actually knocked him unconcious for a few seconds. His clothes were scorched, he would have to get them repaired when this was over, he thought to himself quickly.

Undecisively confused, Ka'nth really didn't know what to do next. But then he got a plan, a stroke of genious. Focusing himself, so that he could gather enough strength, he stood proudly in front of his opponent, seeming to simply be waiting for the next move from the opposer. However, he was brewing an idea in his cauldron, a wonderful plan with which he would devastate this fire mage with pure excellence.

OOC: somewhat short of a post, but it'll do for now. Your turn! =D

[Narato]

"HAHHAHAHAHA, I'm a little surprised that you could still be standing. Well I guess Earth Mages are stubborn like there element. Maybe if I cause it some harm you might attack me at full strength?" Instantly drawing forth some of the fire that was left from the explosion. With the fire he created a mock of the earth mages weapon.

"How will you feel when a mock of your weapon is cutting you down." Giving the mage an evil glare. Kaji gave the axe a few swings to get himself used to the weight. Readjusting his stance Kaji began to charge towards the earth mage.

"Prepare yourself if you can't think of anything good this will be the last blow" Kaji lowered the axe into the ground leaving a trail of fire that followed the double sided axe. At the last second Kaji raised the axe out of the ground and jumped towrards the earth mage. In the air Kaji raised the axe over his head and increased the size two times with his own powers. "Defend yourself you BASTARD!"

OOC: yeah yeah another short post....oh yeah, 100 posts!!!!!!

[Chouru]

Ka'nth gave the fire mage a strange look, "Who are you calling a mage, MAGE? I'm not just an earth mage, I'm a geomancer, with the ability to control EVERYTHING that is natural. Now, prepare for my attack, fool."

The geomancer knelt down on one knee, putting his hands to the earth, focusing his mind to "bind" the earth to his hands. Ka'nth channeled and focused his powers for a second and his skin, starting at his hands, seemed to transform, all the way up and down the rest of his body. It now looked brown and rough, as if it had turned to stone.

Ka'nth doubted his opponent's attack would even phase him. His mock axe would have to burn through the rock armor skin, which would allow Ka'nth time for an attack. He stood up, and held his axe in a defensive position, rooting his feet into the ground to stabalize his pose, posture, and balance. Let the fire mage attack him with a mock weapon, but see if the attack goes through.

KPCH! The weapons locked on each other, two axes of equal strength, one created by man, one by magic. Ka'nth made a striking motion with his axe, but not to attack, only to break this parry. He would allow his opponent to strike him, but not before making his own attack. Ka'nth brought his booted foot up towards his opponent's shin with almost all of his strength, holding a smug grin upon his face as if it were second nature. He decided to play around with his opponent, slightly taunting, slighty intimidating, and slightly bluffing.
