Sorry about my inactivitynessnitude... But I was wondering if we could put up original Sci-Fi RP's, as well. I had ideas for a couple but never got 'em off the ground. I started one called Shadow of the Markthor with homer and Windsong, but it sort of... didn't go anywhere. Perhaps I could port it here, if it sounds good to the powers that be and any of the RPers.

What about something based on 'The Dragonriders of Pern'? I've played the game and read the books by Anne McCaffrey ... *sigh* to be telepathically connected to a teleporting dragon who become's your soulmate ... how much fun would that be ... and to have a few firelizards thrown in too ...

How about a space Sci-fi RP? One where everyone either has a ship, lives on a ship, Or on a planet. No Real Set Theme Besides you try and live life out as a normal Sci-Fi Character. You could Come up with a Bunch of races people could be, Some technology that could be used. Weapons for ships. Occupations for people. You could have a made up universe divided into a bunch of factions who are at War with the others and have some people play out those parts. People Could basicly do anything they saw fit as long as it was in a Sci-Fi sense.
Me and a Few friends tried this idea but our main problem was none of our friends where interested in Sci-Fi role plays. We had no real way to advertise this idea but the few people we did show it too liked it enough that they coined their own versions and soon encounter the same problem.
Back to my idea of the RP; (Which I'd be more than happy to help with how ever I could) Here are the ideas my group had. Factions: Human Federation: Home Planet: Earth (Global alliance in effect)
Darikians: Home Planet Darik (Ash planet ruled by a Noble King)
Dalanis: Home Planet Dala (Water World with floating cities and rooving bandits ruled by a council of fifteen Dalanis)
Japanese Empire: Home Planet: Merika (Earth Like planet with rich mineral deposits. Ruled by the Imperial Family)
Merchant Empire: Home Planet: Teralis (A entire city on one planet. Ruled by the Mechanical mind)
Races: Humans Federation: Human of course with up-to-par technology.
Darikians: A Huamn Like Race but they breath Nitrogen and have a tougher build in there bodies there technology is behind the par of the Human Federation.
Dalanis: Shrewed Mouse like creaters with technology not understood by the other factions there ships are faster but weaker than the Human Federation Ships.
Japanese Empire: Humans of course but there technology is just beyond that of the Human Federation's level.
Merchant Empire: Machinces that have such an amazing technology level that their ships can destroy entire fleets if the captians are not intelligent enough to move out their way.
