Notes From The Administration:
One of my biggest problems that I've experienced with other forums, is the members. Members are what make a good and bad forum. If there is anyone being a flat out jerk, it will start out with a warning from me, or from one of the moderators. If it continues, you will be banned, and your account will be on probation/deleted. Please make this a comfortable forum for others.....and don't make us babysit you.

There is a language tracking filter set up in this forum. Certain words will be modified to suit the comforts of others. If you are using a certain amount of improper language, in disrespectful ways.....I suggest you look at the Warning and Banning thread in the Notices forum of the New Members category.

I've designed this forum to have picture copying protection, (it's turned off for now) but if you like a picture, and you want a copy. Contact the member that posted it and ask for one. If you don't like this protection feature, you can vote on it in the Copywrite thread in the Notices forum of the New Members category.

General Rules:
1) We're all rotorheads here, so no flaming of other members, derogatory comments, and the like. If you really have nothing nice to say to another member, keep it to PMs, don't flood the forum with arguments and flame wars, k?
2) If you find a sweet picture or story on another rotary car, share it with us! Stick a clickable link in your post so we can all be on top of the info!
3) Please keep post-whoring down to a minimum. Being active on a forum is one thing...blowing our bandwidth is another. So take it easy...if you have a lot to say, you can use two consecutive posts, but that's the limit on dual-posting. In other words, two one-word posts won't cut it.
4) Rotary Pr0n: If you find a rather..*ahem* risky pic featuring a rotary, please be sure to label it as "NOT WORK SAFE", or "NWS". We do have some surfers who have children, or surf in the work place, so do them a favor and label it so they know to view it when it's safe..like not at work, around the wife, with 5-year old Billy in their lap, etc etc.
5) Have FUN! That's what we're here for, right?
With that said, just use some common sense and we'll get along just fine. I'm one of the more light-hearted mods you'd find anywhere, and I'm really easygoing, so just stick to these rules and regs and we'll be just fine.
With that said, let the posting begin!!

BUYING/SELLING:
By using this free service you recognize that this board can in no way be held reliable for the accuracy of statements made by users of the service, or any claims arising from transactions made by users of the service.
Buyer beware! Buyer beware! Buyer beware! If possible try to make the deal in person.
If you decide to conduct the transaction over the internet try to cover yourself. Keep track of ALL correspondence! If you have any doubts try using an escrowe service for anything that costs more than $100 and is being shipped...
Buyers MUST keep a record of their payment whether it's a copy of a money order or a paypal email (Save the original email along with all of it's headers). Make sure it has the seller's name on it.
Sellers MUST USE a traceable method of shipment and remember to write the buyer's address on it. This usually only costs a few bucks extra.
I know there's no way I can enforce these two rules BUT if there is a dispute I expect BOTH sides to present proof of payment or shipment. If a dispute arises and you don't have proof be ready to be banned from the forums.
Please don't bother the site owner/moderators with things that aren't from this board. If you meet someone and they sell you something extra that's your problem. It's not that we don't care, we just don't have the time to deal with this sort of thing.
Remember moderator(s) don't get paid a cent for policing this, so keep that in mind when you complain to the admin(s)/moderator(s)!
If you sell your item(s) please notify others by posting an update
No selling stuff on behalf of other people. If they can't sell it themselves that's their own problem. Don't make it yours.
Remember, there are people from all over the world here so remember to specify the currency.
If you are found to be ripping anyone off you will be put on the 'good guy/bad guy' section by the buyer and be banned.
Please no thread crapping, if you think something is over priced the seller will usually figure this out pretty quickly.
No thread hijacking. (when someone posts a FS/WTB/FT thread and you post 'me too!')
If you're using Paypal only accept money from verified buyers, if you're selling accept from verfied sellers. You have been warned.
If something sounds too good to be true it probably is.
All items MUST have an asking price, this is not an auction site.
Try to keep the number of NEW threads to a mininum per member (if you have 5 different things to sell at once don't put post 5 different threads).
No excessive thread bumping, a bump every 2 or 3 days is fine.
Please place where you are located in the heading of the thread when you are b/s/t on the forum (this makes everything so much easier)
Remember to always leave a feedback after a transaction (dont bother if it was for $2!!!)
If possible try to make your buy/sell/trade post subject look something like this:
> state if it is FS/FT/WTB
> describe the product
> state the price (With currency) (if it's a FS ad)
> state the location
> use the specific section, put them where it belongs
No illegal software
Dangerous, counterfeit or stolen goods
> Goods which do not actually exist
> Food
> Alcoholic beverages
> Cigarettes or any other tobacco products
> Pharmaceuticals or any other controlled substance
> Any good that infringes or violates anyone's rights
> Any messages, data, or images that might be considered by a reasonable person to be obscene or which contain racial, ethnic, religious slurs or derogatory epithets, or advocating violence, hate or other language that is deeply or widely offensive.
Sincerely,
The Rotary Blvd. Staff
