What shade of Red?, Paint season is coming!!

Hi all!! Long time, no post so i thought i'd drop in and spam a thread about paint.
Anyway, i want a red fc. Currently my fc is a strange, maroon/bronze-ish colour. Heres a pic:

Now i'm thinking of getting it painted the rx-8 red (velocity red mica), but i was wondering if any of you know of a nice, shiney shade of red that may look good on my car. I know there r paint experts in here *ahem*White_Seven*ahem*...so any and all opinions r appreciated.

I'm still shopping around for colours, but i thought i'd open up a forum of discussion on here to help "further" my efforts. That plus its been kinda quiet around here so i thought i'd stir up some trouble

Well if you ask white seven...he'll probably say "white" LOL Just a joke!

The problem with going with a different color is, unless you go whole nine yard (shell only), and depends on how many hours you can allow yourself to do tedious prep work, you'll be disappointed later.

No matter how well it's being prepped, transition portion of the paint WILL begin to peel off in time guaranteed.

And all depends on how much you'd like to put into the project, too.

I'm waiting/saving my money for a local guy who does serious restoration work.

People brings their project to this guy and he perfect the prep work and comes out like a mirror.

He has giving me a break and quoted me $4K for my rex

And he does not believe in multi stage paint (clear coat) at all. He has that old school attitude and I like that.

He claims that clear coat only exists because lack of skills...

Seriously though, this would be a question for Marcus. His red FC damn near GLOWS when you see it in person!
