ScramblesTBOD - March 10, 2012 03:29 AM (GMT)
Hi my user name is ScramblesTBOD I want to join your clan because Sir Tree of Arbor recommended me and said that I will become a great player. I'm not very good at Shogun 2 on multiplayer but I'm getting better every day please I would be honored to join such a prestigious clan.

Mercurius of Cappadocia - March 10, 2012 03:35 AM (GMT)
Hail Scrambles... welcome to the castle.

Please read the clan Tenets and let us know that you accept them. Also, it would be nice to tell us a bit about yourself, that would help. Location, etc....

ThangHuynh - March 10, 2012 06:42 AM (GMT)
If Sir Tree said so, you will be a great player !!!...Welcome to the castle and good luck with your app =)...in the mean time, please get comfortable and wait for our leaders to give you some questions and to say "in the mean time, please try to have some game with some RTK members so we can get to know you better."

TheDuffman - March 10, 2012 07:08 AM (GMT)
I think we should go to Thang if we forget what to say/do in recruitment threads.

Anyways, heyo.

Where are you from? Only one wrong answer here.

Abascantus of Aragon - March 10, 2012 01:31 PM (GMT)

Alright, sit on my lap. Seems like I gotta tell the tale of how AMERICA founded Australia.
long ago, in the 18th century, My great great Uncle, BRAVER COLUMBINE who sailed the seven seas on three ships; The Nina, The Pinta and the Santa Maria. The same great great uncle who founded Europe, he was the American's most finest explorer known to man kind. After the colonization of York (aka the rip off of NEW YORK), he was beckoned to sail south, to discover possible trade routes to the yellow monkeys, later evolving to chinamen; from today, we call, the Chinese. Anyways upon cruising the pacific, he happened to discover a big useless landmass(which later will be known as Australia but no one cares about that.) The important thing was what my great great uncle BRAVER COLUMBINE did there. After discovering a giant large land rat(The natives there called it a "KANGAROO" ###### that is...) that can leap really fast, my great great Uncle BRAVER COLUMBINE challenged one to a dual, for 4 fortnights they fought, without food or water, in the worst of weathers from dawn to dusk, from spring to winter, they fought till one of them fainted due to exhaustion. After the Big land rat finally submitted to him, he My great great Uncle BRAVER COLUMBINE MOUNTED IT! then road into the sunset.

but ya, America founded Australia.

Hey well I guess I'll tell you a little bit about myself. Firstly I'm 13 and I live in Reno, NV. I was on my middle school basketball team and I play baseball. I'm not one those kids who sits in front of his computer screen all day. I have Rome Total War but I don't play online because I don't want to get Gamespy and I don't know my activation code because it was a download. I also have Empire but I'm not very good at it because I'm not used to every unit having guns. I think that does it let me know if you want to know anything more. =) As for the link I don't know how to get it so just type in ScramblesTheBringerofDeath on Steam and my name should come up. I look forward to hearing from you guys. God this feels like what a job application might be like.

Oh and yes you should hide your ninjas. :ninja:

ScramblesTBOD - March 13, 2012 02:35 AM (GMT)

ScramblesTBOD - March 13, 2012 10:03 PM (GMT)
Oh and you an call me Scrambles because SaddamHussein is a horrible person and I don't know what you mean my MikeHunt. Also did I get the ninja question right?

alymere of york - March 13, 2012 11:06 PM (GMT)
Scrambles, I think Braver was demonstrating how easy gamespy was to set up a name, you can just put anything you like. Maybe the 2 examples weren't the best.

ScramblesTBOD - March 13, 2012 11:25 PM (GMT)
Oh okay well what do you think about my application because Tree said when I'm 15 I can join but that's in two years please you must understand what it's like being too young as the only reason you can't join something, please.

Marshmallow - March 13, 2012 11:31 PM (GMT)
Wha? We have age restrictions? That's news to me.

Also, nice to meet ya Scrambles, good luck with the app.

I was going to make a joke about http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dendrochronology , but i can't be stuffed.

Mercurius of Cappadocia - March 15, 2012 05:48 AM (GMT)

True this. That's what my 1st grader is learning in public school. I think Chazz may have had a hand writing that chapter on our American exceptionalism. Long live Braver Columbine! And goodluck on your app Scrambles.

i think "mounting" a passed-out kangaroo and "riding" it would be something I'd leave out of the history books personally...

it explains where wallabies came from though

Braver Pleinair - March 17, 2012 03:54 AM (GMT)
then how would I explain how charlies came to be? someone had to mount and ride a yellow monkey, my dear son.

Southern Confederate - March 19, 2012 03:23 PM (GMT)
Why do all of our threads have to end up with BP telling a story and making posts which for some reason don't make people as awkward as they should. :joker: Especially with a poor 13 year old waiting to see if he can join us. :(

It's possible... After all, this is where BP got the knowledge to upgrade all his mounts with speed and fatigue resistance. All owed to the great Braver Columbine.

Scrambles, I'm sorry, but it has to be an official "no" to your application.

After consideration, we've decided that we just can't be certain our gaming clan would at all times be a suitable environment for such a young member. Therefore, we must regretfully reject the app. Please understand that this is not due to any inadequacy on your part.

Sorry to keep you waiting.
