Ava ran her hands down the sides of her sleek deep red dress as she looked into the full length mirror in the bathroom. Turning her head from side to side, she looked closely at herself. Not too bad. A small walk over to her vaity, and she was applying her make-up. A thin line of eyeliner, some mascara, and a touch of rose lipstick then slid onto her lips smoothly. She made a kissing face in the mirror, then grabbed her black slinky high heels and strapped them onto her feet. Standing up, she caught a glance of herself in the mirror once more. Her hair she had ha fixed prior. It was up with some loose curls falling down. She was all set for the night out. Now she had to go check on Aemilia. She probably should of done that before she had gotten ready, actually, but sometimes she needed to put herself first.

She opened the door of her room and walked down the hallway to Aemilia's room. She kcocked gently on the door and waited patiently.

Aemilia was in the midst of her enormous, cavernous closet, dresses strewn around. She really had no idea what to wear tonight. The closet was the size of a small bedroom, with inset racks that held all of her clothes, mirrors, and jewel cases. Finally Aemilia collapsed onto the plush chair in the center of the room, putting her chin in her hand. She couldn't find anything!!!

"Georgie, what am I to do now?" She asked her black lab, who was sitting patiently on the ground. He should have been laughing, poor dog, because Aemilia, the Royal Princess, was curled up in a plush chair in her underwear, talking to a dog. It was a sad life.

That was when Aemilia heard the lifesaving knock. By now she knew every person's individual knock, and she knew that it was Ava. Sophie would have barged right in, as would her governess, and her other lady in waiting knocked as though to wake Aemilia from a deep sleep. But Ava knocked with poise and quiet dignity.

"Come in, Ava," called Aemilia loudly so that the voice could be heard in her room, though she was in the confines of the closet.

Ava twisted open the door knob and enterend the room after Aemilia told her to come inside. She walked into the room with a smile on her face, and closed the door gently behind her. As her eyes met Aemilia's, she couldn't help but laugh a bit. There she was in her undergarments looking not the least bit ready. Walking over to her, she rested a hand on the chair. "Looks like someone isn't ready yet. Unless we're going to a lingere show, in which case, I'm very overdressed." She grinned, and wandered over to the edge of the closet.

"Need some help deary?" she asked her, glancing away from the extrordinary collection of clothing and accessories.

Aemilia laughed at Ava's comment and rested her chin on her bony knee. She was really feeling quite hopeless. "I wish that we were going to a lingerie show, because then I wouldn't have to choose something to wear. Honestly, Ava, I have nothing to wear." That was an absurd comment, of course, because the Princess had a closet full of things to wear, but it made her feel better to say that.

"I was thinking of perhaps the Rose dress or the Royal Blue dress," said Aemilia, unfolding her long legs and walking over to the heap that she had thrown them in. One of the joys of being a princess was that Aemilia wouldn't have to clean any of her mess up - the maid would. But Aemilia didn't even think of things like that.

Aemilia held up both dresses in front of her, then held them out to her sides for Ava to see them side by side. "Which one is the very essence of sexy? I'm not going for the proper princess look tonight; this isn't some royal tea party. In fact, Mum and Daddy don't even know we're going out. I've taken particular pains that they shouldn't find out." Aemilia's mouth curved into a conniving grin when she said this. She felt absolutely devilish.

it was the usual night out for the princess and her entourage. At least the usual unknown night out. She, Aemilia, and a few others, had been doing this forever, so of course the palace staff let her in quietly and she knew all the secrets and rules of how to get up to the room without causing a fuss and all of that. She even knew how to dress for one of her nights out which is why she had taken particular care in putting on the perfect eyeshadow, mascara, and eyeliner, as well as covering up all her freckles to the point where no one would be able to see them in any light. She complimented her blue eyes by putting on a little black dress, a must have for any semi- celebrity, and a pair of heels that wrapped around her ankels and tied with a small bow in the back. Her ensamble was compleated by a small black clutch and her outfit was all together rather perfect.

Anne smiled brightly as she peaked through the servant's entrance to the room and spied Aemilia trying to figutre out what to wear. She smirked playfully and ignoring all sense of decorum slipped into the room unannounced as her friend was turned around. "If you ask me, the blue one does wonders with your skin tone, but the rose brings out your eyes."

"Oh my God!" Shrieked Aemilia when she heard a voice. She whirled around, not even bothering to cover herself, though she was of course standing in the middle of her closet in her lingerie. Hey, at least she was wearing the black lace lingerie, since apparently she was giving a public show.

Then she saw that it was just Anne, and she went over to give Anne a hug. "You scared me, you little minx," she said, trying her best to give Anne a stern look, though her smile insisted upon showing at the corners of her mouth. "And I think that to contrast with you and Ava, I'll wear the Royal Blue one."

Aemilia slipped on the dress, then twirled to admire herself in the mirror. The dress had a low scoop neck and wrapped around Aemilia's torso, showing off her long, slender figure. Sometimes being all skin and bones and as tall as a giant paid off. The dress stopped just above Aemilia's knees, and she added heels to complete the outfit, making her legs seem longer than they already were.

"Good choice!" She said, basically complimenting herself, though she meant it for Ava and Anne as well. "Now, how should I do my hair?" Aemilia's long blonde hair fell loosely around her shoulders and down her back. With hair like that, it was always fun to do absurd things to it.

Anne laughed brightly and shook her head as Aemilia stormed towards her while trying not to laugh. When the two of them were with each other, they acted like normal girls, so this was just another regular occurance in their friendship. Minx was practically her name when it came to messing with Aemilia because of all the pranks she played on the princess.

"Lovely to see you too Aemilia." She smiled and waited for her friend to get dressed while she admired the dresses laying in a pile that had been rejected as well as the final choice after her friend had slipped it on. It really was a lovely dress, and it really did compliment the two of them well using contrast, and the shoes looked divine. If nothing else, Aemilia always knew how to top her when it came to fashion.

She grinned brightly at her friend as she modeled for herself in the mirror and complimented her reflection before moving on to her hair. "Reeeeeeaaaaal modest aren't we Aemilia darling?" She smiled playfully and then walked over and gave a small contemplatively look. "I say side part and curl up the top layer."

Ava tilited her head to the side as she heard a voice speak to Aemilia. She watched as they greeted each other, and she took a seat on a chair off to the side. As Aemilia twirled around in front of the mirror, Ava couldn't help but laugh a bit. Sometimes that girl could be so innocent and childlike. It always brought a joyful smile to her face.

She got up and walked over, looking at her hair for a moment. Ava's style was a bit different in that department, so she wasn't sure how much help she could be with that. She fiddled with a bobby pin that was laying on the dresser and listened to them speak.

Aemilia looked at Anne with wide eyes. "Modest? Moi? Always, darling. Don't you read the newspapers? And I quote: 'Princess Mellie is the picture of propriety, apparently always doing what Mumsie and Poppy tell her to do.'" Aemilia turned to Ava, smirking. "Isn't that what it said? We read it just this morning. Or rather, Ava read it to me."

Aemilia brushed the hair into a side part, then began to curl the top layer, turning to Ava. "Ava, dear, will you please get the back of my head? Honestly, it's most inconvenient, not being able to reach there." Aemilia handed the curling iron to Ava, sitting like a good little girl in the chair.

"So, ladies, I think that Dahlia and Sophie are meeting us tonight, probably at Runway. Is that good for you?" It was kind of a rhetorical question, but Aemilia liked other people to have say in their own lives. After all, it must have been hard for them, at least for Ava, to plan her life around Aemilia's. She might as well have a choice sometimes.

Ava shook her head slightly at Aemilia. "The newspapers can be a bit decieving at times," she said with a wink once she was behind the mirror so Aemilia could see. She took the curling iron from her softly and finished curling the back at the top. It was indeed an inconvenient thing for one to do them selves. "Tadah," she said with a smile when she finished, placing the curling iron on a surface it could cool down on.

She nodded when Aemilia introduced tonights plans further. "Sounds very good," she said with a smile. Runway was always fun, but even if it wasn't, only on a rare ocassion would she ever even try to dissagree with Aemilia. Luckily they rarely needed to.

Anne rolled her eyes and smirked playfully as the Princess got her hair done. She quietly hung the dresses back up where they belonged and sat down the the bed while she waited for Aemilia to finish preparing herself for their night out. She did have to say, in the very least, the media was amusing when it came to her friend- they really had no clue what she was really like. "I must have missed that artical. Silly me. That's what I get for not reading the thing in a proper fashion isn't it?"

She smirked slightly and laughed, stopping enough to nod in approval at the finished the hair and the plan. She loved both. "The Runway sounds fantastic. I could do for a bit of attention and I daresay we'll get enough of it there."

Aemilia surveyed herself in the mirror, finally content with what she looked like. She stood elegantly, grabbing the clutch that went with the outfit and throwing her mobile and ID inside. Aemilia really didn't carry that much with her.

"All right, ladies," said Aemilia grinning at them, "Let's go party!" And with that she disappeared through the closet door into her bedroom, then out of her bedroom and down the stairs to the waiting car.

((Next person can post at Runway if they want. Dahlia and Sophie will be joining us there))
