Vincent entered the Rose Gardens, having left Audra with one of the maids whom had taken her bags and jacket off of her. Now it was coming to light the seriousness of what he had done, and he was beginning to worry. Imagine, if he did propose, and the whole world knew about it. And then he decided to call it off. It'd be a farce, and the family name would be ruined.

He couldn't back down now, he had to think through what was going to happen. And so laying on one of the benches within the garden, he began to think of what he could say, waiting for Audra to appear.

Why couldn't I have stuck to the horses...

It had taken a lot for the blonde to restrain herself on the ride back to the Palace. The only thing she could think of was that her plan -- the plan she'd been aching to put into action for so long -- was finally starting to roll along. Once the pair had arrived back at the Palace, Audra had been ushered away to one of the guests' apartments, and had been instructed to remain there until the Prince sent for her. She'd put on her absolute sweetest smile and nodded delicately to the maid who had delivered the message -- and scowled miserably at the woman's back the second she turned to leave the room.

What she really wanted was to immediately get into the shower; that stupid girl had touched her. Not to mention, she'd essentially ripped Audra's jacket from her, something the young noblewoman less than appreciated.

Honestly, the second she became Princess of Wales, half of this damn staff would find itself in line at the unemployment office. They were incompetent, they hovered, and Lord knows that they were nosy as hell. After waiting for what seemed like a veritable century, that stupid maid reappeared, and Audra had to stop herself from scowling at the woman right away. At the last second, she plastered her 'dealing-with-the-Lancasters' face and flashed her pearly white teeth. "The Prince of Wales awaits your presence in the Rose Garden, Lady Kensington," she said with a deep bow, and Audra arched an eyebrow.

"Thank you," she replied shortly, and followed the young woman out of the room, brushing past her as she swept down the corridor. Upon arriving at the entrance to the Rose Garden, the icy blonde took a deep breath and swept into the lovely surroundings, quickly making her way to Vincent's side. "You called for me, love?" she asked, her voice bearing nothing but sugar, her hands clasped demurely in front of her. Best not to look or sound too forward; she couldn't afford to frighten him out of proposing. Not now. Not when that Crown was finally within her grasp.
