As a member of Royal Flush, you agree to:

1. Register with your character's first and last name. Admins are the only ones who can change your name, and it gets old after a while. Also, do not use a first or last name that has already been used. We don't want ten Emmas. Only one character per account. If you have multiple characters, you must have a separate account for each, and if you're going to post as Emma, you must be in Emma's account.

2. Once you register, you have one week to begin posting. If a month goes by and you are still inactive, your account will be deleted.

3. Keep everything PG-16 or less. That means watch the sex, violence, and language. If you need a special, password protected forum, please just let me know.

4. No God-modding. That's when you control other characters, like "Fred shot Bob, and Bob died." You can say "Fred shot Bob," but you have to wait for Bob to say "Bob died." Your character also can't know things about other characters that they aren't supposed to know. Like say Annie is pregnant, but hasn't told Sally yet. Sally can't say to her "When's the baby due?" Characters can't read minds.

5. No perfect characters. They just get annoying. Try to make your characters have some flaws. If they don't, then an admin will let you know, and we'll help you.

6. When posting, don't use one liners. Try to have at least 50 words a post, while in character. I understand that nobody can do this all of the time, but please just try. Also, do not post in first person. This is a third person past tense role play, like "Annie walked down the hall and put on her shoes. She went outside." DO NOT bold dialogue. Put it in quotation marks.

7. Check spelling and grammar.

8. Post at least two or more times a week. If you don't it makes the roleplay slow. Also, put OoC when you're out of character in an in character area, which is basically the whole site, except where it says "Off Topic".

9. Put the phrase "I'm Defying Gravity" in your application, where it says to.

10. Character deaths, marriages, and pregnancies are allowed, please just notify an admin of them first.

11. No bashing of any member of this board. You must respect the admins, mods, and members. Always obey admins.

12. Tagged Topics: If a topic is tagged to Anna, which means it says Tag: Anna or Anna or <Anna, Mary> in the topic description, you may not roleplay there unless you are Anna or Mary. The only way you can join it is if you are invited in by either Anna or Mary.

13. Only advertise in the advertising section of the board.

14. You must wait to be accepted by an admin before you begin roleplaying.

15. Your character should not be similar to another character, try to make them individual. Not everybody can be an actress, or the best singer. If your character is too much like another character, then you will be asked to change some things. I get really ticked off when people make characters that are like mine.

16. You may have more than one character, but you may not have all girls. Your second character must be a boy if your first character was a girl. If you already have a canon, and want another one, please take a boy canon, unless your first canon was a boy. *New Addition* If your first character was a girl, your second may be a girl on the following terms: She is under 14 or over 35.

17. Do not make your character’s past incredibly angsty, as it is unrealistic. Normal people are perfectly acceptable. Not every person has been raped/sexually abused/orphaned, etc, and it is the same way here. A little bit of angst is perfectly acceptable.

18. No spamming. You may not post in any threads except the application thread if you haven't been accepted, and you cannot spam threads with random comments if you aren't a part of that thread. Spamming is only acceptable in OOC areas, and only in the spam thread.

Breaking these rules will result in warnings or deletion, depending on the offense.
