England - One of the only countries left with a monarchy. And they say that the monarchs don't actually do much. Boy are they wrong. Do you honestly think that the Prime Minister does everything? Because the King is a very essential part of the running of the United Kingdom, and without him everything would fall to pieces.

England is currently ruled by the House of Lancaster. This House is a fairly new one, having been instituted in the year 1864. The current King of England is King Nicholas. The King is 61 years of age, and suffering from a heart condition that weakens him daily. He isn't expected to live out the rest of the year. His wife is Queen Alexandra, a strong woman who has done a lot to benefit the welfare of the homeless and orphaned children.

So what will become of the kingdom when King Nicholas dies? That's where things get interesting. The King and Queen had four children: Jonathan, Olivia, Vincent, and Aemilia. According to law the crown passes to Jonathan, since he is the oldest son. However, Jonathan gave up the throne to marry and move to Sweden. Olivia, the oldest daughter, also gave up her title in order to pursue her love of the arts. Now the kingdom rests in the hands of the two youngest children: Vincent and Aemilia.

Vincent is prepared to take over the throne when the time comes, and his mother and sister will no doubt help him. To increase his popularity, his advisors have told him that he should marry. So Vincent is almost ready to propose to his longtime girlfriend, Audra. However, young American Ansley has also caught his eye. He may have lost his heart to this girl, but what will the public - not to mention Audra and his family - do to him if he decides to choose her instead of Audra? And what about the youngest princess, who seems to be in hot pursuit of a man deemed entirely "unsuitable" by her family?

Meanwhile, London is hustling and bustling, and the new Millenium is proving to be brighter than was even expected. The West End is turning out new shows and making new stars every day, and young politicians rise to power in Parliament. What will be your destiny in London?
