How do you write a forbidden romance? What is a realistic way of making this romance forbidden?

See, I've got an idea for a story. A forbidden romance between two characters. But it's forbidden because it's against everything the girl wants and needs. This is a quote from it.

See, she is kind of abused in the story and just needs to be loved and it comes in the strangest way, against everything she believes. And then, she finally agrees, but everyone else tries to break them apart. Will she ever be finally happy?

So yeah... sorry for rambling...

This is definately a new spin the forbidden romance cliche. I really like the idea that she forbids it and they get together anyway and then its like society forbids it.

The abuse thing-- I don't know about that.

But I like everything else about this idea and I think you've got a great idea.

The abuse thing is that she is finding it hard to trust people, especially him, because of all the times people had let her down. People had basically just used her in the past... in a way that's kind of like abuse...

to be forbidden you want them to be so close but then torn apart by whatever you want, have them be battling to be one again etc etc.
