2) What is your favorite memory of SAYS? It's all been a blast! I really enjoyed the selection of the favorite/featured author and story, but that's probably just because I'm addicted to making new polls. And of course April First was fantastic.
3) Weirdest question you've been asked by a member... Some people have asked graphics questions or for me to make them graphics, which I think is pretty weird. Why go to me when Chelsea's around? :cad: But there's never been anything seriously weird.
4) Favorite SAYS game... I do like 'How about prime numbers?' We went through a phase of lots of counting games (up, down, maybe even odd), and of course I'm a math dork, so it's pretty fun. I haven't played any forum games in a while, though, so I'm sure there are other good ones that I don't know about.
5) Has being on SAYS improved you in any way? Aside from learning more about the way forums work, basic coding and how fun staffing (new verb!) can be, I've gotten a lot of help with my graphics and writing. Sometimes I have the most ridiculous questions, but being the amazing community SAYS is, I always get good answers. :)
6) Favorite SAYS forum... While the staff getaway and the competitions forums are fun (I love planning and organizing details), I think the heart and soul of SAYS are the Nic-lead forums - fanfiction, original fiction and mechanics.
7) Explain your SAYS smiley... :marisa: is supposed to be a contract, I think, but I like to think of it as a list of rules. I'm a stickler for rules! And :elfy: is the stick of warning, since I don't really like to warn people ... it's much easier to poke them to look at the rules. (Think back to the WPSS days, which some of the other staffers have mentioned.)
8) Do you remember your first task as a staff member on SAYS? Way back when, Chelsea preregistered me as a supermod. I mostly pointed out problems with masks (I had my own) and entertained the rest of the staff with chocolate and endless supplies of new topics before I became an admin. |
