The challenge is simple. Write a fic inspired by a Disney song. It does not necessarily have to be a songfic, wherein the lyrics are included in the main body of the story, but if you want, go for it. I would imagine that it'd be easier if you just take inspiration from a song, any song: a lyric as a title, a story for a plot... you know what I mean? (Ask if you don't).
ANY Disney movie is up for grabs. I would suggest the animated movies to use, because they have better songs, but stuff like Mary Poppins is cool, too. ^_^ (I'm PRAYING that no one gets possessed to do a Hannah Montana one. But hey... um. :eww:)

if one-shot: 1000+ words.
if WIP, as long as you want. ;) (but I would expect 5-10 chapters at most).
one song per person. (I do not want everyone to do Beauty and the Beast, okay?)

Ooh, would it be okay if I mix this with another challenge? I think Jungle Book's I Wanna Be Like You would be so perfect for the story I'm planning for Lyn's challenge. :D

Ack, I knew I shouldn't have looked in this thread. Darn my love of Disney. Now I've got a plot bunny gnawing at my brain <_< . Err... Could I be a maybe? I'm claiming Heaven's Light / Hellfire from one of my favourites, The Hunchback of Notre Dame :elena: . I love that movie.

I haven't seen Hunchback in AAAGES. It freaked me out when I was a kid so I saw it all of about... one time. :P But Misty, go for it! If you're still going for it, that is.

Anyway, if it is, I'll try making maybe a WIP, though I haven't been writing that much for three years now.:cry: <_< Oh, and I'll use Tarzan OSTs. Since, Phil Collins' songs are awesome! xD And, I'll be yet looking which one to be used specifically. ^_^

OMG!! I can't decide which song to be used, so...uhm..will it be still good if I'll use different songs for different chapters? xD But if not, I'll stick on taking "Strangers Like Me" :D
