• THE REGISTRATION.
. when you register, use your character’s first, middle, and last name in all uppercase letters. SEVERUS SUNSHINE SNAPE is the appropriate format.
. look at the memberlist before registering, because there will inevitably be a mistake in the canon list and somebody will be taken or reserved without getting marked down. if there is already someone registered as the character you want, you may sign up with the same name and just add a period or something after their name. competition is allowed as long as you do not sign up after the other application is finished.
. right now we’re only accepting canons, but there’s like twelve jillion, so i’m sure you can find one to your liking.
. if you join, stay active. end of story. it’s because of you wonderful members that a site can survive anyway. [:
. only create as many characters as you can keep active. if you want to drop a character, just shoot one of us a pm. we don’t bite hard.
. the site's unrated, so sex and violence is pretty much inevitable. if things get extremely graphic, you should probably mark your topic, but we're not going to kick you out if you don't. it would just be a kind gesture for the members on the board who aren't particularly keen on reading such things.
• THE CHARACTERS.
. the graphics sort of make or break a board. please make them pretty. we don’t want graphics that look like they’ve been made from paint in three minutes. you can always request on this board if you can't make them yourself. and don’t use any graphics that could potentially stretch the board.
. you can post incomplete applications as long as you finish it within a reasonable time limit.
. if you're in competition, you have two days to finish your application unless you pm one of the admins with a really good reason.
. if your application has remained incomplete for over a week, it will be moved to the denied forum.
. no mary sues or gary sues, kay? and not everyone is going to be a sexaholic. remember, being realistic is good.
• THE ROLEPLAYING.
. for every note/owl you have, you must have one-fourth of a thread going, too. that means that if you have three owls already, you can't post in a fourth one until you start or reply to at least one thread. this is a roleplaying site, not an owl site. they have zoos for that. *badpun*
. make the roleplays decent. we don’t need fifteen hundred word posts, but we don't want five hundred word posts. keep it at least seven hundred words, kay?
. write your roleplays in word before posting. that way you can use things like spell check and auto correct.
. stay in character please.
. sex is okay but please let's not have fifty million sluts and whores. remember, harry didn't even have his first kiss until fifth year, and it’s never stated in the books that draco’s a sex god even though we all know he is. stay sort of rowling-esque with this.
. godmodding, powerplaying, and all that lame stuff isn‘t allowed. and if you really needed to be told here, we might just be a bit too literate for you. :/
• THE CBOX.
. no spamming.
. the cbox is here for chatting. don’t flame, don’t insult the others, don’t start drama.
. don’t live in the cbox. make sure you actually roleplay. xD
• THE OUT OF CHARACTER.
. be polite. if you've got a problem, take it up in a cordial pm.
. don't advertise anywhere but the advertising forum.
