[Acheron]

"They will have to, eventually," he answered. He reached out, causing the Garnet Rod to materialize in his hand in its sinister dark form. "How else could they get this back from me?"

[The Argyris Twins]

Both of them nearly tripped over themselves when they saw the rod.

"Is that..."

"...What I think..."

"It is?"

They looked up at Acheron, then burst into giggles, both poking and touching the rod.

"It's so shiny!"

"Pretty!"

"Wo-ow!!!!"

[Acheron]

Upon touching the Rod, it seemed to give off a terrible heat. It nearly burnt off the skin on their fingers when they poked the black staff.

"Oh dear, I forgot about that," Acheron apologized, pulling the staff away. "Thankfully you didn't try grabbing it."

Both jumped in shock to the burn, hair nearly standing on end, nursing their burnt fingers, looking at their twins and blowing on them gently. Callisto simply smiled at Acheron.

"Thank-you, Lord Acheron, you could have punished us for our impudence for touching /your/ staff."

They both smiled then.

"We need to learn to ask before doing..."

Both looked at each other with bemused expressions. This was one of their more mature moments. Slight giggles broke the silence though, and they still continued to look over the staff without touching it.

"Has anyone tried to take it from you?"

[Acheron]

Acheron chuckled at the thought as an event returned to his mind.

"No, but I did offer to return it to Sailor Pluto," he said with his eyes closed, recalling the scene. "She was smart enough to decline, however, and was not harmed."

Both grinned when their Master chuckled. Unlike some people they've met, Acheron was actually friendly and really cool. Why must the Senshi stress him out and fight against him? Life would be so simple if they didn't fight back!

"Did she really?"

Callista pursed her lips.

"I'm surprised..."

Callisto shook his hand.

"She's one of the smarter ones..."

Callista glanced up.

"But I thought..."

"Nah, she's smart too, Pluto is more experienced. Though her uniform totally needs a change in color."

Both made a face.

"They really need to get a new sense of fashion. Sailor suits are totally out, they're only for geeks and cosplayers nowadays..."

[Acheron]

Acheron chuckled again.

"Hmm... perhaps if you two behave yourself I'll have the Garnet Rod allow you to use it," he offered. "Of course, if you're careful with it."

Judging by their expressions, you'd think that Lord Acheron had defeated the Senshi and told them they can sleep and do whatever they want for the rest of eternity unless he really needs them. They were sortr of like puppies, wagging tails and all.

"Oh! Oh! Really?!"

Both were practically shining, their smiles were so large. They were beaming for goodness sake. Looking at eachother and nodding they kind of saluted/bowed/hugged Acheron.

"We promise to behave!"

They didn't expect it now, but itwas like that Santa Claus character on Earth. If you behave, you'll get what you want. Both smiling they were sort of, well, yea, still hugging Acheron's sides. They were such younglings at times.

Acheron had quickly warped out of their grasp, grinning leisurely. He brushed his white hair away from the front of his face and twirled the Garnet Rod.

"We may have to spend a bit more time together in the coming days," he commented. "Shader's been squirreled away in her laboratory for days, and Lodi seems to have taken ill lately."

They both pouted when he got out of their grasp, but quickly jumped to his sides, looking up at him, Callisto listening intently, but eyes on the Garnet Rod and Callista focusing all of her attention on Acheron. After a pinch, her brother focused on him too. Both were grinning at the though of spending more time with Acheron, and both clapped their hands.

"Yay!"

Both couldn't help but stick out their tongues at the mention of Shader, though, grimaces replacing their bright grins.

"She always is..." They both sniffed, prissy-like. "She's always making something big and creepy and violent."

But the mention of Acheron's lady friend they stood up, looking at him, empathetic faces of worry focused on him.

"Will she be alright?"

Of course Callista had to be the blunt one.

"Is she pregnant?!"

Callisto shows his mortification of his sister's comment by pushing her arm, telling her to shush, and turn a furious lovely shade of pink.

[Acheron]

Acheron listened intently until Callista had to blurt out the three words he probably didn't need to hear at that moment.

"Er... well... I..."

Unable to get any words out, Acheron suddenly found the giant clock on the far wall very interesting.

"Oh dear..."

Both of them stared as their great leader, Lord Acheron, fumbled for words in front of them. All because of Callista's question. Was Lodi pregnant? Callista wore a half-amusefd, half-annoyed at his bashfulness expression while Callisto blushed furiously, waving his hand at Callista.

"Don't be so rude, Callista!"

He bit his lip, hoping Acheron wasn't annoyed at his sister for asking such a personal question so rudely. Callista simply snorted, crossing her arms.

"I'm serious!"

She looked at Acheron.

"Have you thought about that possibility? She needs to be kept safe if she is though. A lot of people might try to kill her if she turned out to be, and that slipped out to someone who shouldn't know!"

Callisto watched his sister speak a bunch of stuff, he waved her and she stopped, rubbing her hands together. Baby book....everything! Callisto could only shake his head.

Poor Lord Acheron.

Acheron blinked several times, snapping himself out of his reverie.

"I... I'm not sure," he finally declared. "Bab-.. er, maybe I should infan-.. inquire about the situation."

Shaking his head quickly to clear his thoughts, he set off to search for Lodi. He walked significantly faster than usual, his heart and mind racing.

Both the twins simply looked at each other, then at the back of their hurrying Master, wicked grin on Callista's face, and a bemused expression on Callisto. If it turned out that she was pregnant, they both were going to help out with whatever planning - no matter how secret.

They hooked arms, turning in the opposite direction of their Master, to set up and find their rooms. They may share a bedroom, but they still have the need for several rooms.

Just because.

Ah, how they loved being young and immature at times.
