LOOKING THROUGH THE MIRROR OF LIFE
-Appearance-

Full Name:
Luna Kiki Spunk

none
Date of Birth:
September 7th
Age:
16
Grade:
11
Gender:
female
Height:
5'11
Weight:
147
Appearance:
Her hair is a little past shoulder length and black with a few violet streaks on either side. She has side bangs on the right side. Her eyes are grey, but she wears violet contacts (she's nearsighted, so she needs the contacts anyway) She's somewhat tall and slim, but not exactly the most athletic person out there. Her balance, aim, and hand-eye coordination could use more than a little help. Regular attire? She keeps her hair down, wears an oversized black sweater, long jeans, and black slip-on sneakers in the autumn and winter, and resorts to a long black t-shirt that goes down her her elbows in the spring and summer. Her nails are painted the same color as the streaks in her hair. She's not gothic, she just likes the colors black and dark purple. (though, surprisingly enough, her room at her old house was pink)
Hometown:
Boston
Hair Color:
Black with purple streaks
Eye Color:
Grey, but because she's nearsighted, and hates glasses, she wears contacts that are violet, resorting only to glasses at night before bed, and when she wakes up.

Cindy Spunk
Mike Spunk

Personality:
Luna Spunk is spunky. (she LOVES her last name) she's sarcastic, somewhat cynical, and sometimes funny if you're her friend. She's got a lot of pride, and is a faithful friend and a bad enemy (though she seems to make a fair few). She is not easily provoked, and has a skill at provoking others. However, if provoked, she will cheerfully beat the person up (or get beaten up, depending on the size of the person, she doesn't really notice if the person is bigger than her until after she's lying in the nurse's room.)
History:
She grew up in the same one bedroom, one bathroom apartment with her parents in the heart of Boston. (a part of the family room was curtained off) It was somewhat cramped, but the family was only all together at dinner and Sunday breakfasts, other than that, Luna was at school, or up a tree with a book, or picking a fight. Her father was at work (the manager of some company) and her mother was a first grade teacher at a year round school. They moved in (((100 miles from wherever this school is))) the the summer after Luna's sophomore year, so she's a new student, and not too thrilled about it. She is unaware of any of the stories about the school.
Income Level:
none, she just got here
Why Is This Character Attending San Jose High:
Her parents sent her there, deciding that Luna would be happier at a boarding school. Luna agreed with them (she didn't really like the public school nearby)
Favorite Memories:
+At the book signing of her favorite writer. She was in the fifth grade, and when she reached the front she said "I want to be just like you 'cept with my own stories" and the writer smiled and said "I look forward to reading it, and had Luna write down her name on a piece of paper for her. Luna knows that they're is a good chance that the piece of paper ended up in the trash, but she still treasures the memory.
Fun Facts:
+she's an amazing singer, but only a few people have actually heard her
+she tried to play hockey when she was younger, and at the first practice she put on her skates, stood up, and fell over, dislocating her ankle.
+She has a tatooe on the front of her left hip of an orange/yellow harvest moon the size of a quarter. (shh...don't tell her mom or dad!)

-AND LASTLY-

Sample Post(I'm doing it of her fifth grade memory):

Luna clutched her book tightly to her chest, hoping around nervously until her mother placed a hand on her daughter's shoulder to calm her down. The book in her arms was worn, the title "Herding Cats" just barely able to be seen on the side. She was about four people back from the front of the line, and she hoped it would move fast. The old lady in front of her smelt like tuna, and it was almost intoxicating.

Hanging above the table the words "Welcome Angela Swan" were written. The line was long behind her, and Luna found herself wanting to glare at the other people. This was her favorite book, and they had no right to be here. She was on the verge of starting her whole glaring plan when she noticed another girl doing the exact same thing. Luna burst into a fit of giggles until she heard her mother clear her throat.

Looking up, Luna almost had a heart attack. She was here, in the front of the line. Angela Swan was standing right in front of her. All her question she wanted to ask seemed to be in hiding, because she couldn't remember any of them. She just stood there, staring.

"May I sign your book?" the author asked, and Luna mutely handed her the book. "Ah, I see this book is well loved." she smiled up at Luna. "I'm glad you enjoyed it."

"I did." she said solemnly, watching the women sign her name with a florish, and hand back the book. Her mother started to push Luna towards the door, and realization hit her. She hadn't said anything yet.

"I want to be a writer just like you, 'cept with my own books." Luna blurted out, and then blushed a furious shade of crimson as a few people behind her gave her an odd look. But Angela Swan look almost ecstatic.

"That's amazing. I'll bet you'll do great. In fact..." she trailed off, and handed Luna her pen and a pad of paper. "How about you sign your name write there for me."

Luna nodded mutely, and with shaky hands signed her name. "I'm Luna Spunk." she told the writer.

Angela Swan took back the paper and the pen. "I look forward to reading the books that you'll write!" she called out, and Luna flushed again as they walked out of the library, bursting with pride and joy.

Well.
The personality, history, and appearance should be a bit longer. Maybe at the least three five-to-eight sentence paragraphs each.

Add to that and I'll accept.

Oh, and you will need a portrayer. If you need help finding one maybe Aiden or I could help. We have a pretty good list at another site.
