OUT OF CHARACTER AND REGISTRATION
xx.-When you join, register with a FIRST and LAST name. I'm not changing your username and it's easier to identify who you're supposed to PM about certain characters. Oh, and if you JOIN with some username like 'darklordlorzzzz', I will delete the account immediately.
xx.-When joining, you have a certain amount of days to get your application in. If you don't get it in within 5 days, I will delete your account unless you go to the absence board and say you'll be gone for a while.
xx.-If you're not going to finish your app after you start it, post 'NOT DONE' in the title, or 'NF'. You only have a week to finish the unfinished application before I delete it and delete your account.
xx.-If I ask you to add more to history, personality, or appearance, do so. Please don't whine or grumble about it. The longer the descriptions are, the better the chance of you being accepted is. And more people will take you seriously.
xx.-Do not post anywhere except for the Out Of Character category if you're waiting to be accepted. And if you do post while you're waiting in the In-Character categories. I will delete your posts, no questions asked.
xx.-Fights and arguments. I won't have them out of character. In character is okay as long as it does not lead to a feud. It makes the boards look ugly and will make you look stupid. I won't have it. Take it either over IM or PMs.
xx.-I still can't stress this enough. Register with a FIRST AND LAST NAME. No nicknames. First and Last!
xx.-PLEASE try and keep a gender ratio. If your first character is a female. Make the second a male. It's rare you get enough male characters on a site.
xx.-OH. And. About the characters. The most you can have is four. After you get 100 posts on your first account, you may make a second character, get 100 more posts on your first account, plus 100 on the second and you may make a third. Etcetera.
IN CHARACTER AND GRAPHICS
xx.-I do NOT want to see anyone elses graphics on this forum unless they gave you permission, were made for you, or made BY you. In other words, don't steal.
xx.-On that note. No signatures or avatars that could be sexually explicit or perverted. We don't want people thinking this is a forum with just 'sexsexsex'.
xx.-When you DO have a thread and it's going to have something sexual in it, the farthest I want you to go is taking off the clothes. Then fade out or something. Oh. And label your title or subject as 'XXX' or 'R' or something so people know not to come in.
xx.-You may take someone's portrayer for your own ONLY if they haven't been on in a month. Or posted for a month. Nothing's more annoying than a member who signs on just to sign on.
xx.-Your posts. They must have enough to reply to. I believe in the whole 'Post what the other dishes out to you.' In other words, if the other person posts 4 paragraphs. Well. Your reply better be pretty long, too. But when starting out, your posts better be about 2 paragraphs at most. We do have our off moments. But I don't want to see you constantly posting one liners.
xx.-If a thread is reserved for another character. Don't join it unless you're that character. It seriously is annoying. And if you are reserving it for another character, put their name in the title of the thread somewhere.
xx.-Don't trash a thread or anything. And if there's more than two people in a thread, keep the posting order in line. Otherwise it will become confusing. Very confusing.
xx.-Give everyone a chance to role play. If you've joined EVERY thread of another character's. Let someone else have a chance unless the thread was reserved for you.
