Struggling to remove crank from PK engine, any tips ?

some gentle persuading with a rubber mallet does the trick

Have tried heating it, just maybe not enough, will give it another blast now. The crank is turning freely, so not sure why it's being such a cunt -------------------- Rhoodmen of Rutland SC

stick the hole lot in the freexer over night. then heat the case and twat it fella. with appropriate drift or nylon hammer.

Freezer for 24 hours, heated casings for a few minutes, fast froze the bearing then twatted the fuck out of it using dot punch on the indent of crank, then the bearing came out quite easily.

 take it its stuck in the drive side?made a nice tool to drive the buggers out years ago for nik ed bullit sells one almost identical now. |

hahaha was a old trick teached to me by a lad5 times devorced, along with case cleaning in the dish washer and heating areas of cases on the gas rings on the hob. hardening paint off in the oven. and building scooter on the kitchen/ dining table.  can't work out why he was devorced so maeny times, i always found him a top bloke, and very eager to help out.  -------------------- EACSR
