just wondering wether anyone else has had a problem with electronic flywheels .mate of mine has got a couple ,one he only got new last week and he cant get a spark, ive looked at them and the center boss on the inside is higher ,looked at two spare ones i have ,an af and a ducati and they both the same and have a lower boss ,ther for i should imagine allow the flywheel to sit over the stator further ,its only a few mil but thats the difference of the contacts running over the pick up ,just wonderd if anyone else has found this ,im thinking its old refurb flywheels ,even points ones converted, and remade bosses ,????????

thats a problem with them, even some of the af ones, one solution is to use extra magflange gaskets to suit, gotta get them nearly spot on or even with a spark you might get a missfire
or get the drill out and find a boss that suits
ive done conversions that use a pk flywheel and stator and ive a t5 flywheel on my smallframe, it can be a bit of fucking around but easy enough
but the mag gasket is the easy way out
