SBW - We don't do "just another scooterist party!"
News:

SBW News:...... SBW Party 4 - Feb 13th..Roade Ex-Servicemens Club, Northants. All the usual SBW sounds, if you're expecting the norm - sorry, we don't play that game....... Well done to Malky for winning the SBW Saddle Sore trophy, and equally to Cindy for winning the SBW Rally goer championship. Good luck both for next year...... Congratulations to Shazza & Chelski on taking on their first pub, The Red Cow in Caversham near Reading, good luck with it. PM Ade, JV or Guy to add news.

Threadlockers, oil seal glues, copper-slip antisieze, high-temp/white/bearing grease, gasket sealers, antisieze sprays, lubricants etc.

There are a lot of products out there, the question is what do you use or recommend when rebuilding/repairing scoots and engines and where/what do you use it for?

gaskit sealers, a thin smear of grease, bearing fitting freezer over night and b'q heat gun for the local area of the bearing to drop in. or is that tap home with a soft hammer.

I've got plenty products that I use but I couldn't tell you the brand names of any of them, except WD40.

The best tool is a blow torch, great for heating up the casings before dropping/tapping laugh.gif in new bearings.
Its also great for the kitchen too rolleyes.gif
