L williams scored for the 1st's as well, my hero!!! well done pal.

It was a cracker,
a man each sent off just before half time.
we tried to defend 2-0...
bilston got 3-2 up before we could take a breathe...
then they tried to hold on and we came into it, a deserved equaliser.
Bridgo could have got the winner,
with the home keeper distinguishing himself with a few good saves,
plus the woodwork saved them 3 times in the last 15 mins,
a good performance, with some great passing and movement on a big pitch, with 20 men on it...
Well done lads smile.gif

lunny

ps, hope to see you soon M. W.

Lunny,

If the keeper was the same as last season then he is a decent shot stopper.

When we played them two seasons ago just before xmas we threw everything at him and he pulled off save after save.

By all accounts he was asked to sign for a BlueSq South side but turned them down due to work.

The keeper who played for Shenstone last season was a short lad.

Had a a short fuse as well. Lucky not to get sent off in our game at their place last season. Had to laugh when he accused Andy Richards of having "Litlle Bloke Syndrome" biggrin.gif

Four sent off I think. All in the last 10 minutes. Every challenge was just terrible for about 5 minutes and the ref got all of them right. He could and probably should have sent the keeper off as it was a goalscoring opportunity (It was either you or Stewey P on the edge of the six yard box)

The pitch wasn't brilliant was it.
