James Carsley vollied the Market into a 9th minute lead against Cross Foxes. Adam Hebert equalizing 5 minutes later when he headed home a Matthew Hardy cross. Herbert then gave the Foxes the lead on 20 minutes converting a penalty after a handball. Carsley gave Athletico Market a share of the points with a fine free kick from 25 yards.
OAK INN 13 BLACK LION COLTS
Oak Inn need to win their last league game of the season against Malpas to lift the League Championship, after they thrashed Black Lion Colts 13-1. That takes Oak within a point of leaders Dudleston Heath with identical goal difference. Steve Tomkins gave the Oak a great start scoring within the first two minutes, Tomkins went on to score Five, Liam Williams and Jack Harris both bagged a brace with Nathan Richards, Alex Gunn, Dave Hartshorn and goal of the game from Shin Miah who started the move from defence and finished off a nine-man move.
MALPAS 0 DUDLESTON HEATH 2
Veteran player-manager Darren Pitcher scored both Dudlestonís goals to see them through to the semi-final of the Charter Standard Cup. Pitcher headed in from a corner on 20 minutes and then curled a shot from the edge of the box on 53 minutes, Malpas thought they had scored when a goal bound shot from Tommy Knowles was helped over the line by teammate Tom Flaherty, but was ruled out as Flaherty was well offside.
