Clayton laughed as she spoke. It was funny the way she'd risk her life for someone other than herself. Clay long ago gave up living by 'God's' words, he long ago gave up on love, caring, compassion. Those died along with Tiger. Eyes scanned the electrifying Madeline as she rolled of the floor.
"Oh, I don't think a life based upon death is no life at all, I'd say it's the beginning of one. I'm proof of that!"
With a laugh, he gave her a break. It was only fun to torture victims, take away the pain and send it back double time. Then again, that may have just been Jolt's way, torture. Looking at it in a defferent sence, he had gone through the same damn thing. Tiger had been snatched away from him, there was a chance to save him, but he died anyway. Death wasn't always a bad thing, sometimes it was a release, and all Jolt was doing was releasing everyone.
Cocking a brow at her words, he laughed again, sending electricity through the floor directly at her instead of all over the place. The stacks on top of the building began emmiting thick black smoke and all electrical currents all around the inside and out crackling as they were pulled from their sources through Jolt and to Madeline. He watched as her hair stood on end, he could feel her body's own electrical currents spinning out of control. He knew the body's system, and all thoughts and movements were controlled by electrical currents. Why do you think bodies are such good conductors?

The currents were filling her, and Madeline could feel her body shutting down. She wouldn't last much longer, and with a deep breath, she fought to think a coherent prayer. The young religious girl was ready to meet her maker, though she had to admit, she had hoped to be of more assistance to her comrades than simply being a martyr. They really didn't need her for that, after all.
Instead, she lay still, not in compliance, but as her mind tried to focus on a plan. The electrical currents were messing with the hardwiring of her brain, and scattered bits of old visions were dancing across her eyes, driving her absolutely mad.

"Don't worry about it. I think I know where she is."
Cole had spotted the smoke rising from the smokestacks of the nearby power plant. That and what this Jolt character was capable of pretty much assured him that he'd found the right place. He looked towards the front door of the place and teleported right to it. He thought about pulling out one of his guns, but then that would be an instant draw for electricity from the guy, the gun being made of metal and all. Instead, he eased the door open slowly and slipped inside.
Once there, he perused the immediate room, but it was from a different one that he was hearing sounds. Slipping through the machinery, he made his way to another door and eased it open to slip inside the room before he ducked down right behind a crate. He could see Jolt, and when he saw the man electrocuting Div, the woman who was practically Cole's sister, he got angry. Standing from behind the crate, he took off at a run, jumped and teleported to where he was right there to tackle Jolt. Now what would the electric guy do?

Clay saw her utter stillness and ceased the electrical currents. He really didn't want to hurt her, just show her that those who control electricity are not ones you want to insult or anger. He walked to her, his face showing slight discust in her abilities. "So... Those are the limitations of your abilities? I know I gave you quite the shock there.." He burst out laughing. It was never in his job description to crack jokes like that, but he did occasionally.
After regaining his composure, he lightly poked her with his foot, she hadn't seemed to be responding. Though, it didn't really matter to him if she was dead, she was just the Valor Guard's tool. Sighing, he kicked her lightly again, mixing the sounds of 'ch' and 'e' sounds. It wasn't really a word, more of a sign of agitation.
Taking a few steps back, he let electrical currents jump from finger to finger on his hands. Then he heard it. The sound of feet. Then they were gone. Clay whipped around to see no one there. Eyes wide, he backed up slowly, finding all of a sudden, a larger weight on him. He fell to the ground. Writhing, he grunted but could not shake the other off. He hated being small for a man, sure, he could take a woman, but never a well toned man. Panic caused him to pull electricity towards him, running the currents through his body and to the others, though, he pulled every current around him to the man, giving him worse than he treated Medeline. Things never went right for him, not since he was a child.

As the man diappeared, Clay immediatly shot to his feet, eyes wide with terror and surprize. 'What the hell happened?' He thought to himself, looking around. A man had just appeared out of no where. He came crashing down hom Jolt himself. It didn't take long for him to put two and two together. He was of the Valor Guard.
He spat on the floor. So there was her back-up. Another that traveled the same path to the trash can. Humans were just going to use them until their protection wasn't enough anymore. A gun cocked. Clay turned to the sound, not having time to run as he started shooting. As he manuvered through the shots, he got hit on his left arm and right leg. He winced in pain. Then it stopped. He looked around to see them both gone, turning to hear a voice above him.
He chuckled, blood running down his arm and shoe. "I doubt that. Nothing hurts anymore!" He laughed maniacally and slowly hobbled to the door where the light switch was. A smirk on his face, he layed his hand across the switch. He winked. All at once, the lightbulbs exploded from their sockets and left the power house pitch black.
"You'll all meet the same fate. You all travel the path towards the trash can. You're only being used until you break. You'll just be tossed aside, like all the others." His voice faded as he slipped out the door and into the cold night, a trail of blood showing where he'd gone.
