After his comment she gave the best grin a wolf could manage, finding it rather amusing that anger had helped him win the battle. She had no clue what forms of anger helped out, but it didn't matter much to her because the evil entity was gone for good. And then he asked a simple question regarding food, merely nodding her head once to show she acknowledged what he said and would get something. Hunting was natural for her after all, especially in her wolf form which she had constantly used to track down prey to keep herself alive over the years.
Patiently she waited until he drifted off before she headed out into the forest, tracking down a path she could've sworn she found deer. Much to her luck she found a small group, stalking them for a while before she quickly targetted a single one, pouncing out of the brush she was hiding in and taking it down. It was an older deer, struggling behind the rest and appeared to be struggling, so she felt it was best to use it for prey. Once it was dead she shifted back to her human form and carefully brought it back to the 'camp' where he was sleeping to cut up the meat.
It had taken her a while to actually find something worthy of even cutting the meat, the rock barely able to tear it apart but it was enough to at least seperate the pieces. A few she stored in larger leaves she found laying around, tying them up with small pieces of rope to keep it from spoiling out in the open as she had learned. The few pieces off to the side she planned to cook, keeping them within a bundle of leaves until he woke up. Or, at least until maybe she woke up, because she felt safe enough to sleep herself. Resting peacefully against the tree behind her she dozed out, though not fully asleep as usual. It took her a good hour to actually fully fall asleep, always had, but it would help out if something did get close.
