Anyhoo, spent all summer in the US. Chicago for a week, then atlantic city for five weeks (its a shithole and jersey sucks), then Chicago for another 9 days. Got back to Van on the 23rd.

Last Chi trip was fun - broke up with the girl I was staying with half way through the trip and then ended up at the bar with her ex that she dumped to be with me. Yippee.

Moved into another apartment, and this building is ALL girls with girl roomates. You can que the diabolical laughter now... already seeing the girl from 301....

Thats gonna get dangerous. Hafta sneak in all the others through the back door...

Working like mad, and the company is still trying to get me a US visa. The new locations that I have offers for are Honolulu (again) and more recently Seattle. Not happy about that one.

Can't bloody wait for hockey to start and for the Canucks and Bertuzzi to rip it up once again.

Skwid - TDot should have nabbed Messier and Francis and Macinnis dude. Right in their age bracket for players. Is it a new rule out there that you have to actually be a member of the Ontario Teachers Pension Plan to play for the Leafs these days? :D Bert's gonna lay Lindros AND Allison out for their careers, you know that?

Is Dazy still around? The Flames look GOOD.

Anyhoo, just a quick drop by. I PROMISE I will be around in the very near future. New laptop on the way, and the net at the new apartment. Jyst give me a few to settle back in to Van.

Well, the work Visa for the US fell through. Crappy. Oh, well. Over it and on with my life. Have 4-5 openings next year, so at least I'm on the road. And at least I get to stay in town a while with Joanna and see where that goes. Start Fencing lessons next week. Something to do instead of setting homeless folk on fire. They smell funny.

Busy as hell with work this week, and hosting a dinner party next week too. Lots of good wine.

-Lemon pepper sea scallops with roast red pepper, Foie Gras and pork au jus.
-Tuna Tartar with avocado and tomato and a reduced balsamic, brown sugar glaze.
-Halibut Savici (cooked with lime juice acid instead of heat) with coriander and -shallots
-Mushrooms Neptune (slow cooked portabello with dill cream cheese, whole crab claw, scallop, and shrimp topped with a raspberry beurre blanc)

A few other things, probably duck breast and pomegranete, orange buttered chicken with cashews and cayenne...

Gonna be good.
