Ola all.

What did I do today?

Got back from Chicago. Ate food.

Oh, and I have a 95% shot at taking the executive Chef position in Sacramento, California. Should know very soon. That'd be fun.

GreenValkyrie will now atest that Dav is just as out of control in real life as he is on this forum. :D

I'll write a full update tomorrow, love y'all

Dav.

Woke up and found out that I didin't had school, yay. Went back to sleep and woke up at around... 10? 11? Can't remember. Anyway, I went on the comp and did various things. I can't remember any of it. Then I looked around the house for food. I couldn't find anything worth eating. Then at around 20 after 12 I went out and shoveled the snow. That was fun, yay. Did some more stuff on the comp. Got really really bored so I went and played MW. Kill Fargoth with a pencil and took some photos. That was a blast, yay. Went and ate again. Uh... did some other stuff and then ate again. Walked around the house doing nothing but walking around the house doing nothing for half an hour. That's always fun, yay. Was commanded to empty the dish washer by my sister. Did that while my sister watched over me complaining as usual. Got into a deep discussion with her that started about me leaving the milk out and ended with questioning whether our dad is a mass murderer or not.

And just now I got two ads in a row on LAUNCH.

I just reread that and if anyone is thinking what I am, the answer is "No, I'm not 'on' anything."

the first half of my day is similar to God's.

school = snow cancellation today, just as planned.

woke up at 10, lazed in bed till 11, goofed until 12ish, made an improv lunch. chinese leftovers + boiled rice = smorgasbord.

I then had to figure out how to get to my orthodontist appointment at 2:30. That would normally have been a 45 minute walk, but there was 7in of snow on the ground. I had pimpjuice's aupair drive me there, later i went to his house for an hour to not a total mooch with the rides. Got back home at 5ish and shoveled.

Now I must sacrifice the rest of my day to my junior thesis, which is due day after tomorrow.

Yesterday...

Got up at 8am and was bored. Did nothing at all, and just sat around doing nothing. That's all I did until about 6pm when I went to my friend's house and returned at about 8-9 pm. Was very tired for no reason whatsoever, so I went to sleep at 11pm. Got up an hour ago and it's 9pm now. I didn't fail to notice that I got up at the exact same time as yesterday. Not that it matters anyway.

Today...

Been an hour of today already and I did nothing. I suspect this trend to strech over through the whole day.

Went to school at 10:30 thanks to standardized testing for the juniors. ( I don't plan on wasting my day tommorow)
Did nothing in school, came home, passed out, did homework, and watched TV.

Yesterday.

Had a just ducky break up with my Girlfriend. We got together at the beginning of December and then I left for two monthes less a week for my restaurant openings. Came back to this possible job in Sacramento which could literally be any day. Apparently, she was on a slightly higher emotional bond with me than I thought. UhOh. She was not what you might call happy about it. It had to be done. I did it as clearly and concisely as humanly possible. Plus, I'm not exactly relationship material, mostly because I am completely wacked.

Today.

Woke up and admired my city. Theres not a cloud in the sky, its like 20c, and the rockies are still snow capped. If I do end up going to Sacramento, I am going to miss this place like crazy. Put in 3 disposable cameras for developing. I haven't the foggiest whats on any of them. Found them cleaning my apartment. Emailed a girl in Chicago, and came here.

No idea what the rest of the day will entail, but I'm off til monday, so its bound to be interesting.

Dav.

I've been having a real rough week. Tuesday, my mom got into a car accident-she's not doing that great-she's been in the hospital, she has a broken sternum, and several small fractures in her spine. I don't know when she'll get out, if soon at all. They're still running tests and more tests. She's able to move, but very slowly, plus they have her on all these pain medications-but-She's ALIVE! I'm still pretty frazzzled, but functioning. She was stopped at a red light, at the Y intersection by where I live, (I think I ranted about this particular spot in the hate thread, because so many people get stupid there, and there's always accidents there.)when a van, trying to avoid another car,who I think tried to run the red light? , put herself in the path of my mom. The roads were kinda bad (it snowed heavy that day), and in swerving the van tipped over and slammed into my mom, head on, so hard that she pushed my mom's car over a lane and over a curb up onto the embankment. She's lucky to be alive. Thankfully she is. But life as she knew it-not anymore. The doctors already told her she won't be able to ever go back to work. It's still too soon to know anything else. More and more tests.
I want and need to 'break down' for a moment, but no opportunity to do so. Got to be strong for the kids, my mom, and actually for myself too, and then it's time for me to go to work. No breaking down there. And I started smoking again. Not good, but do plan on quiting again. Not smoking was great.
So-back to what I did today-more calls with the insurance companys, be going in a bit to pay my mom's bills, then to the hospital, then to work.
