Vampire High Lord Group: VAMPIRE admin Posts: 23 Member No.: 1 Joined: 3-July 08	In Character 1) No power playing. This means controlling the actions and words of another character without the permission of their player. This is extremely rude and honestly takes all the fun out of guessing what the others character is going to do next. 2) No Godmoding. This means creating a character that is absolutely perfect. Whether it’s having a character who is perfectly nice who never loses their temper, has a level head and could never ever dream of doing something wrong, or a character who is invincible someone who no matter how hard you try can’t be taken down. We have seen that in the Buffy verse even God’s have their weaknesses and as of such every character on this board no matter how powerful must have their Achilles heel. 3) We are Intermediate-Advanced role-playing sites. This means that we expect our players to be able to write posts which provide the reader with details about the scene, the characters feelings and reactions while giving the other player enough content to work with in their reply. This doesn’t mean we expect 20 paragraphs every post, nor am I going to give you a minimum word count because I know as well as anyone that sometimes your muse doesn’t like to co-operate. However I would like to think that 3 decent lengthed paragraphs would be needed to fulfil this requirement. 4) Please register with your characters first and last name with the first letter of each name in capital letters for e.g. Faith Lehane is good FAITH LEHANE, faith LEHANE, Faithiscla21 are all bad. 5) This is an R rated site. Sex scenes, Violence and the like will occur in the role-play. Though it is preferable that a player marks the thread as being potentially mature the admin staff are certainly not going to complain if they neglect do so. So your joining and playing at your own risk if you don’t approve of such material, or are too young to be reading it. 6) Before you start role-playing the first thing you must do is fill out a Character Sheet for the admins to accept. Don’t worry about having to wait as the admins try to be online daily and so will be able to get to your sheet as soon as possible. Out of Character 1) Try to be as friendly towards other members as possible. Though we wish to avoid such situations, if members do have a problem sort it out between yourselves privately rather than making it a public debate on the board. This only results in making it a board wide conflict and an environment is created which isn’t very fun to play in. 2) On that note please respect the decisions of the admin team. If we say no to something for whatever reason we will have a reason for doing so. We are not all monsters who won’t take member suggestions, or will be mean for no reason. Just remember that we all have a reason for doing something. 3) Please try to keep graphics to a decent size. This means that both avatar and signature graphics should not be so big that they cause the board to stretch. 4) Slayer’s Doppleganger is based on the hit TV show of Joss Whedon and his team. However anything that isn’t on the show is the property of Slayer’s Doppleganger and its member. Please do not take anything whether its characters, graphics etc without the permission of their original maker. 5) Please do not advertise us in a way not permitted. Though we appreciate that you want to help us expand the site advertising in a way that isn’t approved only serves to give the forum a bad name among other forum owners and the members of their forum. 6) Most importantly have fun and please don’t sign up make a post and never return to the board again.
