RULES:

Role Playing:

Try to keep all posts at around 100 words or more. This helps to give the others you are writing with lots of information to work with.

All posts are in the third person, i.e.:
Jean-Claude turned to Anita, and smiled broadly.
Rather than
I turned to Anita and gave her a big, broad smile.

You can use alternate fonts to the board standard, but you must be able to read them. If we have troubles with this, the rule will be removed.

You may have more than one character, however try not to make two characters that will spend a lot of time together – or you end up talking to yourself! Examples are Jean-Claude and Anita, Dolph and Zerbrowski.

Original Characters are definitely welcome! Just make sure to introduce your character, then dive right in.

Please try to keep canon characters in character. Edward wearing pink and becoming a stripper, however much we want to see it, isn’t in character.

No God-Moding, i.e:
Jean-Claude turned to Anita, and she moved to hug him.
Because Anita is not your character, you have no control over what she does.

Characters:

No super-human ultra-strong vampire/were crosses. Panweres ARE allowed; however, only a limited number.

No Mary-Sues. Here’s a Wikipedia article about what a A Mary Sueis. Their existence just makes them boring to RP.

Try to get some graphics, even just a simple picture, of the actor or actress who you envisage to play your character. This also applies to canon characters. This is to help your fellow players keep track of your character’s appearance and the code phrase being red lorry yellow lorry.

Remember to claim your characters face in the Actor/Actress face claim.
Post a relationship thread to help make friends, and enemies, in the characters world on the board. This is especially important for original characters, to help integrate you into the world.

Out of Character:

Please sign up using your characters FULL name.

Keep anything 18+ or overtly sexual in the Naughty Thoughts forum.

Game threads are allowed; just don’t flood the whole forum with it.

Spam is NOT allowed.

General Board Etiquette

Always remember to do unto others as you would wish they do unto you.

Spamming a member’s inbox is not allowed.

This board, due to the content of the books and thus the content of the posts, will be strictly 18+ ONLY.

If you RP somewhere else and think our members would like to join, feel free to post a link and let them check it out.

This is a role playing board, not a message board, you must play a character to chat on the board.

+ + + +

When you start a thread, PLEASE on the first post, put a date that will match up with a Storyline.

So, if Cindy and Mindy go out for dinner during the week, in the first post, please put....

WEDNESDAY WEEK FOUR (this is a example, it can be whatever day it is)

This will help us finish the Storyline so new characters can be brought in with no problem.

Also, if you're thread is two parts, like... Cindy and Mindy went out to eat and then went to the clubs, I want you to please put the link of the new thread in the old one.

In other words, link back to a previous thread if it's a continuation.

+ + + +

If you have a problem with anything, please let the administrators, know via the email you will be sent when you join.

Have fun! That’s what we’re here for!

I don't see the code phrase... Unless it's Mary Sue?

Um, if you want to use a canon character does your screen name have to be that characters name? I noticed a lot of people doing that...
