It is possible but the Ing have died and Dark Samus went somewere, but it is still possible that he just ran away

Well, there could've been surviving ing, holding onto the metroids bodies, forcing them back to a newly poisoned TALLON IV AND THE WORLD WILL END!!! thats just a guess...
