I noticed that any threads which haven't been active in a few weeks aren't displayed in the thread listing by default. It's kinda frustrating when I'm trying to look up a character profile which I know has been posted, and it's been hidden by the age cut-off. I can make it appear by adjusting the drop-down boxes at the bottom of the thread list, but it took me a while to figure that out.

I suggest adjusting the age cut-off to show all threads regardless of how long they've been inactive, at least for the RP sections, and preferably for the whole board.

You can do that by going to the bottom of the page and selecting "show all threads" in a forum.

Yeah, I know that *now*; I said that already. I'm just saying I think it should be set to show all threads by default.

Wouldn't know how to do that myself.

In the Admin CP, in the left pane, go to "Manage Forums". Then choose the forum you want to change it for, and click the "Settings" link for that forum.

Under the "Postable forum settings" header, look for an option labeled "Default date cut off for topic display" with a drop-down list, and set it to "Show all". Then click the "Edit this forum" button at the bottom to save the change.

Unfortunately, there's not a way to change 'em all at once; it's limited to changing the setting for one area at a time, so if you want to set the whole board to show all threads by default, you'll have to lather-rinse-repeat umpteen times. A little tedious, but shouldn't take more than 5 minutes.
