Name: Captain Arrawiel Crux
Age: (in the year 3048) 33
Gender: male
Height: 260 cm
Species: mantrin

Clan: none
Parents: (none alive)
Spouse: -
Offspring: -
Relations: (Brothers, sisters, etc.) -

Looks: He is a rag-tag captain of the ship Dragonwing. He is medium in height and build, his skin is a shade of darker grey and an almost white belly, with a pair of emerald eyes. He has a small black horn on his snout and two almost equally small horns on around the back of his skull. He wears a worn out dark-blue black schemed uniform of some strange - long dimminished - expeditionary force, with a tactical vest, and a few pistol holsters - and a large gun holster on his back.

Likes: He lies ships, in fact he alwas talks to his own ship as if it was - and according to his beliefs is - alive. He also enjoy wielding instruments of destruction, such as guns and explosives. He finds great treasure in reliable friends, as his life went on and about business - which did not let him make any. He likes technology, and the comfort it gives... And money.

Dislikes: Disobedience and blackmailers - especially on his own ship. He also hates those who might hurt his "little beauty".

Personality: He tends to be the cool-guy, the hotshot, who never looses his composure and who is the ideal of the concept of being a captain. That's the surface, though he likes to keep his image as the situation requires: a fearsome warror, a stronghanded captain, or a witty dealer. But inside he's quite sensitive, even though he'd die twice before admitting it.

Skills/strengths:He is an excellent melee and ranged combatant - and knows the technology behind all these well. He's a great captain/dealer/warrior. That is for sure, he has many sides. He can sell your own mother back to you, or give strenght to fight against an unbeatable opponent...

Weaknesses: He lack the ability to give that strenght to himself, and he's also afraid to socialise with open cards: he is shy. Also, he is sometimes overtaken by his "lust" for ships and tends to bring decisions that he regrets afterwards.

Weapons: He carries a plasma pistol and a rifle on his back, with a couple of grenades (2 emp and 2 frag), and a unique pistol which he got from his human mentor Carl Wyrm - leader of the former Explorers - a sting-gun. A sting-gun is a small pistol that fires rapidly and the energy projectiles of it cause fervent chemical burns (rust or roth) on hit. And a PDA with his notes and diaries and a few data from the Dragonwing.

History: He lost his entire family when he was young, in a shoot out on a small colony in the middle of nowhere - that has been long gone now, with his memories of his parents. He was brought up by the expeditionary forces that picked him up in the left over junks that the surviving winners of the shootout didn't take as a souvenir. These people of several different races called themselves Deep Space Explorers and their mission was to find new inhabitable planets and mining worlds. They taught him how to survive, and how to be an explorer... But their constant frays with the Drej slowly bled the organisation, killing them a ship at a time. The once proud organisation shallowed to piracy and smuggling. After his mentors died, the one thing that was left for him to seek comfort in was the ship he learnt and lived on: Dragonwing. The ship served him and he in return loved the ship and cared for "her" as much as he could... Until two weeks ago, while he negotiated with mantrin weapon dealers on a planet, his enemies ambushed their ship and blew it to smitherines. He didn't care that much of the crew : they were the scum of the universe, but the ship... His prescious "love". On that day a part of him died on th Kaltrik 7, and he wandered aimlessly until he got fed up with drooling at the ships that went by, and sneaked up on a cargo ship to try his best at the next bay it goes to...

The horns are just some oddities... but you never know. rasberryk.gif
Things I left out - unfortunately : he can command a ship as big as a frigate very well, and even drive a fighter(though he's considerably weaker in that); also from the years he spent nurturing the Dragonwing he picked up valuable knowledge of repairing and ship maintenace.

And yes please, I still need to get the hang of this rp, so any help is welcomed and much aprechiated.

...and even drive a fighter...

That might be a bit of a problem when it comes to the Delphinus' fighters, as they're designed for pilots of roughly human dimensions. Mantrins would have a tough time fitting into the cockpit, and even if they got in, their huge knees would be all in the way of the controls.
