»general appearance:; Cooper came from a family of good-looking people, so really, it was expected that he would be handsome. He has never really been concerned with his looks, as he wasn't raised to be concieted. Cooper's dark brown hair is long enough that it sometimes falls into his hazel eyes. It usually looks like it hasn't been brushed because of how often he runs his hands through it, but that doesn't mean that it looks bad. Cooper finds it a bit annoying at times when his hair falls into his eyes, but he just brushes it out of the way before continuing with what he was doing. He has hazel colored eyes that are usually either focused on his guitar or behind his reading glasses, studying something for school or reading. They have always been a very lovely shade that most people seem to really like. His eyes are probably his best feature. Cooper isn't what you would call muscular, but he still has a nice build. He's thin, but not something that looks anorexic and has strong legs and arms. That of course is from all the baseball he plays. Of course, that had caused a few scars on him as well, particularly during the summer when the family plays baseball together and he slides in shorts. His guitar has also caused a scar on his collar bone. He had the string too tight and it snapped, cutting across his left collar bone, leaving a bright pink scar after it healed. What annoys Coop sometimes is that no matter what he does, he still has a thick british accent that he can't get rid of. After having it for sixteen years, it's not going to disappear that easily.

»general personality:; Cooper isn't one of those guys you expect to find in Malibu or much of anywhere. He isn't the typical manwhore who doesn't care who he's doing or how they feel or anything about them. Sure, he does go through girls like he goes through his guitar picks, but that doesn't mean he's a jerk about it. No, our little Coop just has commitment problems and doesn't know how a real relationship is suppose to be. Everytime something has started to get serious, he has left faster than you could blink. He has had very few relationships end on a sour note though. He has always been one of those lovable people that you can't stay mad at for very long. The reason that Coop has such good luck with girls is that he's one of those cute little dorks that girls find adorable. He has always been a bit naive but don't think that he's stupid.

Coop has always been really good with his grades. Better than what most people would expect from him by his image. In fact, Cooper is probably the brains of the family. He has always enjoyed reading and learning, even though he doesn't really show it. He has always been the on that all his friends turn to for tutoring or just a little extra help. School has always came easily to Cooper, be it english, science, math, or history, though his best classes are english and math. Most people are amazed at his ability to sit down in front of a sheet of equations and go through them with ease. He was even able to skip a grade when he started high school, but he didn't want to go without his brother Boston, so he stayed in his right grade. He doesn't like to flaunt his intellegence tries to hide it, embarrassed about it at times. At home, though, if he doesn't have his guitar in his hand, he has his nose in a book

Speaking of which, Cooper is very musically talented. He can play almost any classic rock song that you can think of on guitar. He has been in love with music since he found some of his dad's old cds. He didn't fall in love with the guitar until he watch The Who play a concert on tv. That was when he became hooked. He carries his guitar everywhere with him. There is rarely ever a time that you don't see his guitar in his hand or on his back. It's like permanently attatched to him. His siblings tease him about it and countless other things, but Cooper just laughs right along with them. There's no point in taking anything to heart.

Cooper is a really laid back kind of guy. He doesn't get easily offended and likes to kick back and take life as it comes. He doesn't like being rushed to do things. He likes to take his time and make sure things are exactly like they should be. Some people find that he's a bit slow, but that's not the case at all. He likes to take his time and learn everything about a situation before he approaches it. That includes girls. Although he may not stay in a relationship, he does put his heart into it. He is a sweetheart and there has never been a girl that he has treated badly. He has always treated them like any boyfriend would, even if they only lasted a couple of months. What can you say, the boy just isn't one for relationships.

general history:; Cooper and Boston Nash were born on May 16th to Hannah and Kyle. Unlike the day that their sister was later born on, it was a rainy, cloudy day and the couple had originally been attending a baseball game when Hannah went into labor. Cooper never did understand how his mom pulled out all of the crazy names that she named her children. He says that it was the drugs she was on because honestly, why would you name your kids after cities, or something that even resembled a city you went to? Boston- that's a city, Porter- sounds like Portland. He got a pretty average name, but his middle name is what got him. "Brighton? Isn't that a city or something?" And then their mother named his sister Quinton, a boy's name. He definitely blames it on the drugs.

Cooper had always been a fairly easy child to handle. He didn't really want much, but when he did want something, he better have gotten it or there would be a raging, screaming fit. He had been a bit of tattle tail as a kid, but it wasn't long before he grew out of it. Though Coop was close to his twin brother Boston, he was closer to his little sister, Quinn. No one ever knew why, but the two were around each other a lot. Cooper had gotten into baseball, along with the rest of his family, when he was about seven. His dad had taught him to play, starting him off with batting. Of course though, he sucked at it, so he seems to remain the family's pitcher when they play together. He had always loved it and played on every team he could, even now in high school.

Cooper was thrilled when his sister wanted to try out for softball, so when tryouts came around, they would always practice together. When he was in the eighth grade, Quinn in the seventh, Quinn pitched to him and he hit it, knocking her straight in the nose. He freaked out and ran over to her. He wouldn't stop apologizing, even after she was better. After that, they found that their dad had gotten a job transfer to America. Cooper really didn't want to go, but he eventually gave into it and went. It was actually the first night that they moved into Malibu that he saw a concert on tv and wanted to play guitar. So his dad took him to buy one and he hasn't give that up since either. Cooper was surprised at how quickly he was mobbed by the jocks, quickly making friends. He was even more shocked at the attention he started to get from girls, since he hadn't been that popular back home.

Coop is enjoying America and the way his life is going. He doesn't mind the cameras for the tv show, but then again, they don't really shine on him long anyway. He just wants to make it through his junior year keeping his grades up, playing baseball, playing his guitar, and having fun.
