Name: Jonathan 'Jack' O'Neill
Species: Human Age: 54 Gender: Male Military Branch: United States Air Force Rank: Colonel Weapon(s): P-90 PDW (Personal Defense Weapon), Model 92F sidearm Background: O'Neill served in the USAF until his son accidently shot and killed himself with O'Neill's own handgun. Guilt-ridden, Jack retired from the military and emotionally shutdown. Shortly after Daniel Jackson figured out how the Stargate worked, O'Neill was re-activated and called back to duty to lead a team to scout where the Stargate lead to. After defeating the alien overlord Ra, O'Neill returned to Earth. Some time later, after the rise of the Goa'uld Apophis, Col. O'Neill was recalled to lead a miliary force to confront this threat.  |
