hi,

i was passed this web link by a friend the other day. when i read the title i was like "what????". i opened it and it is great. biggrin.gif you can make a cuddly toy monkey from a pair of socks (new) and a bag of stuffing. it is really easy to do even if you dont have a sewing machine - do the stitching in backstitch and then go back over the row the other driection (so north to south and then south back to north). it locks the stitches and the sock DOESN'T fall to bits when you cut it, like i thought it would.

i'm making them as an extra for my monsters for christmas, and the socks only cost me £1 a pair.

go on have a go! i will post pics when mine are complete. biggrin.gif
