Wayne Tower
Main headquarters of Wayne Enterprises. There are branch offices and headquarters all over the world, with the second largest office tower in New York City. Currently, Wayne Technologies, Wayne Aerospace, Wayne Chemicals (and its lesser-known subsidiary of Wayne Pharmaceuticals) stand tall at the forefront of research and development in their fields. They have many joint ventures with S.T.A.R. Labs, Oscorp, Stark Industries, etc.

The central time keeper of Gotham City, the tower has often found itself as a headquarters of a handful of different criminals throughout its history. It stands a point of much distress, in a much quieter area of town.

G.C.P.D. Headquarters
If you thought criminals were bad, brace yourself. The main building for the police force in Gotham City. Operated by some of the most corrupt and vile people ever to call themselves police officers. Thank God it's run by Commisioner Jim Gordon. Without his noble leadership, the city would no doubt, fall into the worse reign of evil America has ever seen. Not even the Batman could hold back the floodgates.

Cathedral Square
The epicenter of the new birth of religion in Gotham City. Most congregations make this section of town their local residence for Gotham Citizens. Unfortunately, Gotham Cathedral does not also stand in these parts. The old abandoned church darkens the skyline near Gotham Square, in the North.

Gotham Zoo
Closed down more than thirty years ago, the ancient statues of sea crabs and other animals stand as a grim reminder of the Zoo's once vital activity in a much more peaceful Gotham. The Cobblepot infant was dumped here, left to rot inorder to spare his parents the burden of raising him. He would grow into the vengful murderer, The Penguin, and terrorize the city.

Located on the southern end of the city, the isle is home to Blackgate Maximum Security Penitentiary, Gotham's prison. The most concentrated place of evil in the city.

City Hall District
The political center of Gotham City. Whether election ballets are counted, press conferences are held, and court battles rage on. Most noted in recent years for the Cobblepot speech incident, where Mayor candidate hopeful, Oswald Cobblepot opened fire on a crowd of supporters after spewing insults at the public. The police chased him into a nearby park area, where he disappeared into the Burton River.

Gotham Superior Court House
Justice is blind. Well, it would be if the political and public servants of Gotham were as true in heart as they lead their citizens to believe. Crooked is the word and its whispered in hushed tones. Never under estimate the depths in which corruption can travel here. You can win your freedom in these courts of law if you have the money and a few judges in your pocket. Even the most gruesome of crimes can be cleaned up with a little green.

Stark Industries
Although partnering with Wayne Enterprises in its base city of New York was a good business move, Tony Stark built up a company headquarters in Gotham as an answer to the sudden spike in crime rates and talk of a criminal catastrophe. With the economy plummeting and the possibility of a city wide depression on the horizon, setting up a corporation not only sends a message to other businesses to keep Gotham on its feet, but also puts Iron Man close to a bad situation. Perhaps, Mr. Stark could help matters in a town on the brink.

Oscorp
Gotham Branch: Partners with Wayne Enterprises in Gotham and a place of much unrest, the company built was and funded by Norman Osborn, and later used as an armoury for his villainous crime waves as the meniacal Green Goblin. After his passing, the company he'd spent a lifetime building up would fall into the hands of his enbittered son, Harry. Desperate to make his late father proud, the young Osborn would put Ocorp's reputation to the test on many ocasions with dangerious experiements and careless bussiness tactics, setting up a corperate office in Gotham City shortly before his own passing.

Shreck's
Located a few blocks from Gotham Square, the department store, worth millions, was the pride and joy of late business Mongol, Max Shreck. After his disappearance and assumed death, his son, Chip, took over the company. Like his father, Chip Shreck's callous tactics and ruthless demeanor are enough to make many cringe, if not for the inherited trait he carries, which enables him to hide behind a mask of good will. He now also pulls double duty as Gotham's mayor.

Has seen it's share of blood over the years. Called the heart of Gotham, the square has been named a memorial spot to the death of the Ice Princess and those killed in the "Money Midnight Bash" massacre in which the arch criminal, The Joker, attempted to murder the masses of Gotham with his "Smilex" toxin, only to have his plans dashed by the entrance of the Batwing.

Gotham Cathedral
Its almost as old as the city itself and is in as bad of shape, the Cathedral has been forgotten by Gotham Citizens and has fallen into serious disrepair. On its exterior it is a marvelous spectacle, the majestic architecture jutting into the skyline. The sight hides the interior's wreckage and dilapidation. It figures large in the early history of Batman's activities in the city. It was here, rumors claim, that the Dark Knight fought perilously with one Gotham's worst criminals, The Joker after the nightmareish "Money Midnight Bash" massacre.

Because The Narrows are seperated from the rest of the city as an island all its own, the only way to reach it from Gotham is the Sprang Bridge.

The Elizabeth Arkham Asylum for the Criminally Insane
Although separated from the main City isle, its close proximity to Narrows Island makes it officially part of that sector in Northern Gotham. Arkham Asylum does not have a good record, at least with regard to the high profile cases; escapes are frequent (on at least one occasion, an obsessive-compulsive multiple murderer was signed out of Arkham into the care of an incontinent, alcoholic vagrant, on the grounds that he "looked like a responsible citizen"), And those who are 'cured' and released tend to re-offend. Furthermore, several staff members, including at least one director, have ended up as residents, notably Dr. Harleen Quinzel, Lyle Bolton and, Drs. Jonathan Crane and Hugo Strange. In addition, prisoners with unusual medical conditions that prevent them from staying in a regular prison are housed there. For example, Mr. Freeze is not technically insane, he requires a strongly refrigerated environment to stay alive, which only Arkham can provide.

Axis Chemicals
Former property of Mobster, Carl Grissom, he used the place to set up his employee, Jack Naiper. Batman showed up at the facility, and when Napier tried to shoot him, Batman deflected his shots into his face, wounding Napier and causing him to fall into a massive pool of toxic chemicals. Napier survived, but was deformed and burned by the chemicals. After the newly name Joker shot Grissom, he took over Axis Chemicals, using it to poison beauty products in Gotham City.

The late mob boss Carl Grissom's former million dollar headquarters. From here, he ran all of his criminal enterprises, the GCPD unable to so much as lay a hand on him. Despite the DA's eventual gathering of evidence against him, he would never be brought into a court room due to his violent murder at the hands of The Joker.

In the most dangerious part of The Narrows, lies Park Row, "Crime Alley," as its nicknamed. It's the stage for at least a half a dozen murders on any given day. Even the police are fearful of treading to this part of town. If you are to venture here, be always on your guard, or death will claim you in an instant.

The Monarch Theatre
Once part of the Golden Age of Films, this movie palace fell into the void of Gotham's wreckage. It sits near Park Row, closed down and forgotten, old movie posters still lining the exterior walls. Before its untimely shutting down, its setting was paramount in one of the worst murders in the history of the city. On the streets, not far from the theatre, Thomas and Martha Wayne were shot to death in front of their young son, shortly after seeing a movie. The case remains open to this day. However, Bruce Wayne, son of the murdered couple has since discovered the identity of the killer as being Jack Naiper. This is not of record with the GCPD.

Gotham Light and Power
The entire power supply is monitored far away from Gotham City in its outskirts on the main land. Granted, its a terrible inconvenience for inspectors and the like, but the power station is such a frequent target of attacks when closer to the city, it has been permanently assigned here for safe keeping.

Wayne Manor
Located a few miles north of Gotham City, Bruce Wayne's mansion home stands as a monument to his late parents. While he enjoys its comforts, he does admit, "Some of it is very much me. Some of it isn't." The home represents people much happier than he and is the only reminder of a Bruce Wayne untainted by the thoughtless and cruel acts of Gotham's evil.
