Amaethon The Valiant
Character Information User Name: Amaethon
Class: Long Arm
Physical Description: This is a man who reminds just about anyone of a prowling tiger. He has round, black eyes and silky hair that moved about his scalp in every direction. His hair was silver and short and was worn in a very wild fashion, severe style. He had a very tall and angular build with a pronounced chin. His skin was cream colored and his small ears could hear just about anything in the distance. His wardrobe was of the gray scale as he wore black plants and a grey, long sleeved shirt. To match the attire was a long, dark scarf that acted as though it had a mind of its own and usually went around his face.
Personality: Amaethon was a member of The World who had a very cold apparatus about him. Stereotypically, Long Arm protected individuals on a day to day basis. They were valiant and intelligent and Amaethon was no different. However, his sentiments and actions were generally effortless and careless; he was the kind of person that did not make friends easily.
Finding The World
“C’mon man! You just gotta play this game.” The entire day Lance’s boss had been hassling him about playing a game he had just purchased called The World. The man had barely submersed himself in the game and already he was talking about how incredible it was and how much Lance would like it. “It’s like what? Fifteen bucks a month.” This man had deep-set eyes that were the exact color of turquoises. His long, amber hair was in a style that reminded Lance of a strange headdress. His physical form was notably lean, but he looked like an old time gamer, whose butt had been flattened by long hours of sitting. There was an air of laziness about him. “I know you want to buddy!” He taunted Lance, disc in hand.
“Well…I’m saving money and I have college boss.” Lance watched the disc of The World as it was waved across his vision time and time again as he tried to help his boss realize how hard it would be for him to make an appearance on the game and play on a day to day basis. On top of that he didn’t want to waste his money on a monthly cost of a game he’d never even played. He was trying to save up and dedicate all his money on paying for that car and all his time on graduating college. This was not the first time he had rejected a game to participate in more important goals that would actually set his future in the long run and he wasn’t about to give in so easily.
Lance was an experienced gamer, but overtime he had learned to grow up and focus on things that were more important. This temptation was waved in his face like a dog wanting a bone that he could not get to it because they were tied by a rope. That rope was woven out of books, money, and parts of his job. He sighed quietly; he wanted to play and he had a computer that could take the system scimatics, but it was not that simple. The only time (barely) he would have would be over the weekends and if that were the case he still would not pay for the monthly cost. It was quite troublesome that his boss continued to urge him like this-he should be helping the customers who were gawking at the crazed man.
“Alright tell you what!” His boss folded his arms, relentlessly driving a bargain for the boy. “You play with me on the weekends…I mean you can’t have to work on the weekends right?.” He smirked, knowing that in this scenario it would only turn out as a win-win situation; his boss had someone else to play with and Lance could play on his own time, but it was his boss’s next sentence that made Lance take the bait. “I’ll pay for your subscription so long as you’re still working for me.”
“Heh, that doesn’t sound like a bad idea sir.” Lance’s attitude had been totally turned around thanks to this bargain as his manager brought his hand out. “Alright I’ll play. Give me the disc and I’ll install.” He told the man, shaking his hand firmly, playing the small disk he had been waving in his face into his hand. Along with that he picked up its case from the counter to their left. Lance took it and placed the disc in its case, noticing that the box had a manual and a visor of some kind.
“Yeah that’s what I like to hear!” His boss beamed, shaking his hand violently and then letting go, saying “I even bought a couple extra copies for the other guys to install so we’ll all be able to play!” He displayed all the other boxes of The World and Lance simply sighed…“Course they’re not getting the deal you are, but then again they’ll probably be playing on their own time a lot more often.” He winked.
“Trust me! You won't regret it!”
