Kamryn growled intently when they entered the shop. Melissa was carrying her in some little carrier and she couldn't shift from this form unless she wanted a bunch of scraps and bruises. She glanced around the shop... there were things of all sorts here. Things in jars, relics, candles... it was a witch's type of shop. She glared through the little slots in the carrier at the zombies that shuffled by their master and she felt an intense sence of fear suddenly.
What was more curious was what the boy had done after she'd revived him. She wondered to herself whether the boy was possessed or if his soul itself had been tainted. She yowled pathetically hoping Melissa would think she were just a cat. But by her words in the church she doubted that ideal. |

Oh what to do with this cat that was not a cat? First things first, she had to put the zombies away. And despite their obedience, she did have to preserve the stupid things. And thusly, she sent them into the freezer. No Necromancy shop should be without one. Especially a hidden one. But enough of that. They could put themselves away. And take the monk hand with them.
A long days work and all her tools conveniently put themselves away. All the fun, with none of the cleanup. Now that was a good idea. Though controlling the zombies had been draining in itself. It wasn't as hard with constructs. With golems and skeletons. You just infuse them with magic and tie it off. They worked for centuries without maintenance. Zombies were just the quick and dirty. They didn't take a long time to animate, create or hap-hazardly mesh together. But enough of that. Melissa's attentions were brought back to the cat. First things first. She'd put it in a cage where if it was something roughly human, then it could change back. Either way, she wasn't getting away. Melissa's interests were piqued, and there wasn't much that'd stop her once that happened. "Welcome to Desires. A one stop shop for all your corpse-like needs. Including most magical items and/or books. Feel free to gaze upon anything you like and perhaps even offer an explanation as to why you're a cat today." There was nothing remotely threatening about Melissa, it's just her profession tended to scare people away. Maybe it was the whole thing with the bodies? |

Kamryn sat in the larger cage and stared back at Melissa as if she were a cat. She blinked very rarely and thought about her current situation. She decided to start purring at the mention of her not being a cat. Then she promptly started to clean her for paw. She was being stubborn, she knew that all to well, but dammit she didn't like people knowing what she was... expecially since it drained her so when she was stressed about things. Like this shop.. She glanced around the room noticing Melissa was now alone, the zombies being put on ice.
She simply returned her gaze to Melissa and yowled. |

Melissa sat in a chair with perfect poise as she just looked down at the cat. "Look. I'm a necromancer. Your aura is wrong. I know you're not a cat." She just had a hint of tired in her voice. "The sooner I know what you are, who you are, the sooner I can let you go and we can all go to bed for the night."
Truthfully, It was probably a bad thing to bring the cat home with her. It was a safety issue that she didn't really feel like dealing with right now. But who knew what it was? Really? "Besides, I bring people from the dead and have zombie assistants. I don't think that anything you can do will cause me alarm." Sometimes, giving knowledge was better than being stuck in a cage. Besides, what would Melissa do with it? Honestly? |

Kamryn huffed and made a slight hiss then closed her eyes. Suddenly her form started to stretch started to mold and grow into something much bigger. A young woman sat in the cats place her long black hair falling down either side of her shoulders. She was in tact with cloths and everything. She wasn't about to show this woman her true form ... she felt no trust towards her and was slowly starting to become irked by her pressence, and the shop. She scowled at the woman with her blue hazel eyes when the last of her spine popped and crackled into place with a look of aggitated unease.
"Alright... so tell me.. your tired... I can sense that, I'm aggrivated and stuck in a cage. Why was figuring me out so damned important." Kamryn was but 21 and she seemed like a kid from the streets, a run away..but something about her well kept appearence seemed to push the shredded jeans and punk attire aside and show she was something really more. |

"...'bout time..." She muttered under her breath, stifling a yawn at the same time with a closed fist raised to her mouth. What could she say to the obvious questions? Why had she done what she did? Why had she cared to know what the cat was?
"For one, if you intended harm on the monks...Well, I could not be sure. And I thought I would be better equipped to handle you, should the need arise. Alos...I was curious. I am human after all." She sat there with continued poise, all the essence of an actual lady. Seeing very little threat from the woman, despite her irritation, Melissa stood slowly, brushed the non-existant dust from her dress, and walked over to the cage, whereupon she opened it and offered a hand. "I am sorry for placing you in a cage. Are you hungry?" |

Kamryn watched her every move like a hawk. She didn't like being put in disadvantages such as these. However when she opened the cage Kamryn's eyes brightened up and then became even more suspisious. "I wasn't there to harm the monks.. I was taking a cat nap til your little group came along. And as a cat I became curious... sometimes I can't control the instincts of the animal I transform into. " She looked down slightly imbarrased. "What food are you offering" She asks, looking suspisious about any food she would offer to her in this store... filled with strange things.

"I was thinking of chinese or Pizza. Anything you would prefer?" Melissa didn't like to cook particularly much. And cooking for one was so boring that it practically bled loneliness. And unfortunately, you don't meet many worthwhile people in business such as hers. In fact, you find a great many people who you're rather not be near at all.
The fact that the girl had troubles with the animal's instincts was something that Mel would have to remember though. Weaknesses, or interesting facts were always worth knowing, no matter how small the detail. "Oh, I am Melissa Sable, the owner of this shop, and neighborhood necromancer." A soft smile crossed her lips, and a genuine...sense of proud of her titles. "And...I do not cook much...In case you were wondering." |
