After Lukas left the club walk for a few hours looking for a good place to hunt. He ended up at the Ocenic board walk. He stood stiff for a moment to listen to the waves steadily crashing into the rocks. He found a place to sit and stared of to oblivion, he liked to get himself into a trance be for hunting. It seemed to help the still piercing thought of killing another, wither mortal or not.

He closed his eyes ,listing, he heard a few teenagers having a party down on the shore. Perfect. He liked younger mortals they tasted fresher. He got up and walk towards the group, keeping in the shadows. As he approached a young women sitting alone he let himself be seen, startling her for a moment. Lukas quickly calmed her down, he sweeped her mind and found out she just got dumped.

"Was he worth your pain?"
"No, but this still sucks, and how the hell did you know?'

He flashed his fangs, but not in a threating way.

"I can make you feel better, you will never feel pain from me."

Thats was enough playing with his food. He took her around the neck and kissed it softly. He loved the warmth on his cold lips. She moaned a little and he took her life swiftly, he would not lie to her. When her life left her he picked her up and carried the corpse away from the other kids. He didn't want to ruin the party, that would be rude.

tomorrow they would find her laying with no more pain.

Lukas decided he would find a place to rest for the rest of the night, and think about the vampire that he saw at the club.

Lukas awoke startled. He heard someone coming across the beach.
"shit I just feel asleep" He looked around the, moon casting its luminescent light across the water. A tall man approached him cautiously, the man wore a black cloak with a hood. Lukas tried to get in his head but was blocked out. Damn this is just a mortal, what the hell.

"Are you the one they call Lukas?"
"Yes, who is asking...?"
"You can call me Luther, Ive been tracking you for some time. Your not to discreet are you?"
"Why have you been following me, and why did I not sense you? If you decide not to answer I will kill you."

Luther smiles to himself taking his hood off. Scars covered his face, and he was missing an eye.

"I'm not that easy to kill Lukas. I have been studying your kind, and I know how too block my thoughts out. You my friend are not to old are you?''
"Old enough, but hell I am impressed thats quit a skill for a mortal."

Lukas tried again to read his thoughts, but ultimately failed again. He tried to narrow his thought a little, he caught a glimpse of Luther killing a immortal.

"My my your persistent. Now then I need to do what I came to do."

Luther pulled a good sized knife out of his cloak, quicker than a mortal should be able to do. He stabbed Lukas in the shoulder completely catching him off guard. Lukas Reached for his throat cutting him with his long nails. Luther fell back holding his throat. Lukas took the opportunity and went for him again, this time catching both his shoulders.

He bit his jugular and riped it out. He then grabbed the knife and put it through Luther's heart.

"Your blood tastes good you little bastard, Its a shame I thought you would be harder to kill"

Luther feel to the ground dead. Lukas walked away leaving him where he lay for a warning in case there was more. The wound would heal up quickly he had just fed a few hours ago.

He found a little inn of the board walk and rented a room for the day. It was a nice enough place. He locked the door put the chain on, and went to bed. He kept the knife he acquired at his side. The blood still on it.
