THE OMEGA NEWSPAPER
this is what the writers on Omega do. they gather news from all over the ship and put it into a newspaper. the newspaper, however, is just called that. it's actually only accessible through the computers in the library. it's easy for the information to travel to everyone, though.

THE OBSERVATION DECK
a large circular room made entirely out of extremely thick windows. able to hold a maximum of thirty people at a time. it's a relaxing sanctuary where people can go to look out at the vast...nothingness that is space.

THE GARDEN
a farm with all sorts of plants growing. oxygen is replenished through the garden and water is kept close by. this is one of the most highly guarded places on the ship- if something were to happen to the food, unimaginable hell would break loose.

THE HOUSING FACILITIES
all units were originally the same size, so families were given full rooms, and walls were erected cutting other rooms smaller for single units. while each unit has a fold out toilet, it was impossible for each unit to have it's own bathing facilities.

THE BATHING FACILITIES
because each housing unit can't have it's own, a dozen bathing facilities are scattered through out the housing units. each facility has twenty showers and twenty sinks, as well as ten toilets. the toilets are in stalls, but nothing else is. there is very little privacy on a space station.
